NO MASKS! COVID PROTOCOLS NOT FOLLOWED EVEN AFTER I EXPLICITLY ASKED IN AN EMAIL IF PROTOCOLS WERE BEING FOLLOWED... One of the 3 movers refused to wear a mask and he went home. The other two needed to be constantly reminded to wear a mask. I cannot comprehend that a moving company would be so lax about Covid protocols when moving peoples furniture.
Besides the fact that they didn’t follow Covid protocols, they were extremely slow. We had to put furniture into the hallway of the condo to speed them up, otherwise they wouldn’t have finished for at least a few more hours. When we got to the new house, they continued their slow pace. I understand that moving doesn’t happen at lightning speed, but this was comically slow.
Never in my life have I ever had such a negative experience. The only resolution offered was a reduction in the hourly rate to compensate for the fact that one of the movers wasn’t present due to the fact that he wouldn’t wear a mask.
AVOID THIS MOVING COMPANY AT ALL COSTS.
