Groundscape Construction was amazing to deal with, from start to finish of our project of our complete backyard reno and both sides of our house.
Sal and his team were very professional, super friendly and wonderful to deal with. We never had any issues getting in touch with Sal for any questions we had, and the response time was very fast as well. He was very receptive to our needs and ideas, made great recommendations and offered different options to choose from, and always keeping in mind this space was also for our kids. Their safety with choosing proper materials and planning the layout of the backyard project was important and well thought of.
Sal and his crew members were incredibly hard working, cheerful and always showing up on time. They are so knowledgeable, professional and the results are incredible and built to last. They always cleaned up at the end of the day and left everything tidy and organized, even our driveway was swept after each workday. The timeline of events such as deliveries of materials or bins were so very well-timed and organized.
All the materials used were very high quality. We had interlock stones installed for our backyard patio, surrounded by armor stone, steps and also a retaining wall across the back of our cedar edge. River rocks and pavers were installed on the sides of the house. The new sod installed is very good quality as well. It was a great experience working with his Groundscape Contractions, and I would definitely not hesitate to recommend Sal and his team. They really took care of every little detail that makes the complete project stunning and long-lasting. We are very happy and satisfied with the end results.

We hired Sal and his team to do the landscaping in our backyard and the side of the house last year. We were extremely pleased with the work so we hired him to do the front yard this year.
The team is professional and hard-working and did a great job once again. They really take pride in their work and it shows! The porch, steps, walkway, lighting, garden beds and stones by the tree all look fantastic.

The scope of work included interlock driveway, backyard wrap-around patio, front walkway, lawn re-grading and something to address a dirt patch along one side of the house. We knew there would be issues with grade and extensive tree roots throughout all areas. From our initial meeting with Sal we immediately recognized he had the experience and expertise to deal with these challenges, as well as bringing a strong design focus to the project. He had great suggestions to enhance the landscaping which we appreciated.
Throughout the process Sal maintained excellent communication with us - keeping us informed of the plan and progress, issues encountered or anticipated, and soliciting our input into alternative solutions. He is a perfectionist and very detail focused so we knew he would find good solutions to any issues that came up. He was always incredibly responsive to any texts or getting back to us with quotes for change requests.
We especially appreciated the strong work ethic all crew members held - showing up on time, treating us and themselves with respect and professionalism, and cleaning up well at the end of each day. They truly work as a team and the results show.
We could not be more impressed with the way the project turned out and would not hesitate to recommend Groundscape Construction to anyone.

All parts of the job turned out great. Flagstone on front porch, interlock patio in backyard, interlock one side of house, stone steps front and back, triple mix for plant areas and new sod where needed. They even did a couple of little extra things that weren't expected and were very much appreciated.

We started with an above ground pool and 22 year old pressure treated deck, which Sal and his crew transformed into the backyard of our dream!

Sal and his crew did an amazing job transforming our backyard into a private oasis! Sal worked with us from the beginning to plan, budget, and design the project. He communicated with us constantly throughout the project, and responded to any of our questions or concerns immediately. Sal also did a great job overcoming all the Covid19 challenges. Honestly, the best customer service experience I have ever had with any contractor!

Once the work began, the Groundscape crew showed up early every single day and stayed late whenever they needed more time to finish what they were working on that day. They showed total commitment to every detail of the project, and were meticulous about cleaning up at the end of each day. The entire crew gave our project their full effort and attention until the job was 100% finished. We could not have asked for anything more from a landscaping company, and we love our new backyard!

Sal and his team did an amazing interlock job on our porch, walkways and double driveway a couple of years ago. When we called him recently about a minor issue he stood behind his work and dealt with one section of our driveway where necessary. As before Sal was a real pleasure to deal with. He personally came out with two very polite and careful workers and restored the project back to its original gorgeous state.
