Recently moved from Toronto to Ottawa with Vasy Transport. They kept me informed leading up to the move and got the job done in one day (studio). Quick, pleasant, and professional. They even offered me a ride to my new apartment in Ottawa, when they heard I'd have to take the train. I would use them again. Special thanks for George who brought up my box spring by the balcony (my new apartment was a walk up 2nd floor with a norrow staircase).

Vasy moved me from Toronto to Montreal

Is not easy to find a reliable mover. I used Vasy Transport to move my furniture and belongings from Toronto to Montreal. Everything went good. Their team arrived in time (I was stressed because my building gave me only 1hour spot to use the elevator). Another good thing: they have a platic cover for my expensive king mattress!!! They didnt have a box for my TV but Mike and his mate wrapped it in few blankets. The delivery in Montreal was next day and again right on time. All in all it was a good service. Price was right for me and as they advertise there were no other hidden fees! (3 years ago when I moved with another company, theyt I booked them with a very low price and I end up paying double). Thanks Mike and Allen?(I dont remeber if Allen it was his mate name).

If you care about how your furniture is handled, be wary about using VASY!!!
VASY said “Wrapping all furniture with moving blankets for better protection, including tape to secure, plastic cover for mattresses”. They only had 3 blankets and 6 1/2 feet of space left on the truck and could not get another truck in timeframe required. Had to frantically contact several local moving companies and we were very fortunate to find another mover.
Requested VASY to return $150.00 deposit as they did not do the move as stated in our contract. VASY has ignored my request.
In retrospect, I wish I had selected a professional moving company rather than VASY. The extra $ this cost were more than worth it.
My recommendation is to be very wary if you decide to use VASY as your mover. In my mind, they are unprofessional, unethical, and not to be trusted.

Company Response: Hi. If you are the client I think you are, then please tell the whole story. We arrived in Halifax in time and instead a mattress a boxspring, 2 dressers and few boxes as you initialy said you need to be moved for your student daughter, you had a whole 1 bedroom apartment with 12 big items of furniture and around 40 big boxes plus another odds and ends. We had only few blankets left because we wouldn't had needed more to protect the 2 items of furniture you initialy said you have. And the 6ft space left in the truck (we had a big load before you) it was big enough to fit in 3times a bed and 2 dressers and few boxes.
That's the reason we ask few times and insist to have an accurate list of itmes, just to avoid an embarrasing situation. In my experience I know you declared much less items in order to have a better price and thinking to negociate with the driver for a small tip to take the rest under the table. On my side, we showed up in time and we were ready to load your furniture, but we failed because you missinformed us about the quantity of itmes you need to be moved. Obviously, the deposit is not refundable as is clearly written in our confirmaion.
PS. After all, you wanted to have a biger truck next day morning, which we couldn"t help with that. We cannot send trucks in Halifax every single day. We are movers not a taxi service. We have a limited fleet and we have a schedule to follow with other clients. We take this business very serious and we cannot play with other clients schedule and time because your mistake.
