Scott and Laurie did a basement renovation for us 4 years ago. As can be expected with any significant reno, there might be some bumps along the way but Scott and Laurie worked with us to get through them all. In the end, we were very satisfied with the end result. They have a great crew of subcontractors, some of whom we have since contacted to have other work done. We still contact Laurie for references and contact info! Would highly recommend and hope to work with them again some day on another project!

We did a major renovation on our house adding four bathrooms and a new kitchen and redoing the basement. We also took out a number of walls and put in a new back deck. The guys in Scott's team could not be nicer and more professional. Even through Covid they were very attentive to our needs and did their absolute best to keep the work going in the most difficult of situations. We would not hesitate to recommend them in an instant. We are very happy with our home now and if there is any problem Scott will come by at the drop of a hat. You should definitely give these guys a call.

We used Will Construct By Design for replacement roof with new shingles and new siding. We are very happy with the work they did. Scott and Laurie and very professional and pleasant to work with.

For quite some time, we have been needed a new shed. Our old one was delapodated and falling appart. We knew we wanted to step it up a bit and wanted something custom. We reached out to Scott and his team because we knew they could give us exactly what we wanted. After researching endless ideas on Pinterest we finally found the perfect shed. We literally showed Scott, Oho, Jay and Brandon a picture and they created the exact replica of the shed we fell in love with. We could not be happier. Jay and Oho were here the majority of the time and Brandon came towards the end. They were professional, courteous and so easy to get along with. Given the current climate, they always took proper precautions and were extremely respectful. I would recommed this team to anyone in need of a renovation large or small!!

We are very glad we found this company. My wife and I decided to have the load bearing wall removed between our kitchen and living room in our two story. We reached out to a few businesses and had received some quotes but after meeting Scott and speaking to Laurie i knew we were goinf to choose them.

Laurie was awesome in understanding what we were looking for and answering my questions to help me make an informed decision.

Scott came to do the consult and his knowledge and straightforward approach gave me confidence that he knew exactly what he was doing.

Scott and Jay did the work and being we dont get to see people very often with all thats going on it was great having them around.

They were excellent! As does happen, there were a few unforeseen vents, plumbing and the like that required a change in the scope of work and they made sure to inform me and provide theyre suggestions so that i could make informed decisions.

From start to finish it was a great process. We're very happy to have chosen Scott, Laurie and Jay to do the work and i would happily recommend them to anyone and work with them on any project in the future.

When Scott first visited my garage, he urged me to accept his renovation proposal, otherwise "you're 30 to 40 grand into it. Why? Why pay so much?" Subsequently, I received a written quote from him for $24,968.50 + HST. Based on his proposed design, he asked for and I gave him a deposit of $3,320.50 to begin.
While I had not asked for any changes to the original design, Nabeel the Professional Engineer, who had also visited the site, created 3 sets of drawings in total for this project.
On the day I was to sign for the building permit, Scott said that he had to change the design in order to meet the Building Code. He left a second quote with me.
This second quote was so confusing that I had to look into it and calculate the final price myself. It said that the "Costing" was $42,267.70 + HST, by my calculation totalling $47,762.50. But when I totalled the payments listed on the quote, again by myself, the total came to $49,853.00.
I believe that this was done deliberately to try to cover up that ***** THE PRICE HAD EFFECTIVELY DOUBLED! *****
The time of construction of the project had also increased from 1.5 weeks to 4 weeks.
I told Laurie that I had lost all trust in them and I wanted my full deposit back. She only gave me part of my money back and still refuses to refund $1866.50 for drawings that do not meet the Building Code and which I cannot use.
Scott and Nabeel the Professional Engineer should have produced a design to Code from the very beginning, and Scott and Laurie should not have switched the quote to something that was not agreed on and does not fit my budget. Yet they expect me to pay for their mistakes!
My wholehearted advice to you is:
***** STAY AWAY! I COULD NOT TRUST THEM WITH MY HARD-EARNED MONEY! *****

Scott provided us with a competitively priced quote and worked with us to customize the deck to our liking.
