We compared Barnyards to four other companies and decided to give Matt the business based on how courteous and straight-forward he was. Matt patiently answered all of our questions and was happy to explain the pros and cons of his proposal versus the others we received. From estimation through to completion of the job, Matt was easy to get a hold of, proactive with updates, and gave us a range of options to work with based on our needs. His team replaced our flat roof, added insulation and a new skylight during the dead of winter. And, when we discovered that water from our neighbour's roof was causing a leak in our house, Matt solved the problem at no additional cost. The new roof is awesome, but equally important, the job was done on budget, on time, and our property was virtually spotless afterward. Highly recommended.

We found Matt from searching online for a roofing company. A few companies provided quotes but we chose Matt to do the work for us. He was courteous, knowledgeable and competitively priced. The job was completed on a timely fashion and above all, it was extremely well done. All his guys know what they are doing and are friendly. But above all, they pay attention to detail.

Finding a good roofer in a busy city like Toronto is a challenge. The demand for quality work far outweighs the supply, and a lot of companies won't even call you back. For our home in Riverdale we decided to go with Barnyard's Roofing. The service level provided by Matt and his team was spectacular. Matt came by our house to look at the job in advance and took the time to give us his advice (which was appreciated). They worked fast, professionally and were well priced. The job site was always left very clean. I would highly recommend this group.

Matt was the only roofer who took the time to inspect the roof from atop our home and within the attic. His quote included all scenarios of "what ifs" and he spoke candidly about the likelihood of each. His crew was friendly, finished the job on time and within budget, and they cleaned the site meticulously each day. Matt kept us up-to-date with the progress and was fast, efficient and thorough even when dealing with the unexpected. Matt made sure everything was looked after. He's an all-round good guy and someone with whom we would say our trust was placed.

I had Matt come by and do my skylights. He's very good at what he does. Kind and courteous. Has an excellent team of guys working with him. They efficiently dealt with my skylights. I'm very satisfied.

Full roof replacement - I have both a combined flat and sloped roof. Matt( owner of company) is a very nice guy, very easy to work with, hears out all your concerns and gave great advice and options. His pricing is definitely good for the amount of work they did. They came on time, spent their full days completing my job, were very professional, and cleaned up everything nicely after the work was done. He was referred to me by my initial contractor (he did some smaller work on my place on behalf of my contractor for a complete house renovation 3 years ago), and I would highly recommend him to anybody wanting any roof work done. In the spring I had a leak in my upstairs hallway. I had a look around in the attic but couldn't determine where the leak was coming from. I was extremely frustrated and contact Matt at Barnyards Roofing. He made the time that week to come over give me an estimate and talk about the problems. Luckily it was a few shingles that had been removed but the roof had a few issues and he repaired the flashing and other areas. Extremely pleasant and honest. When my house needs a new roof he will be the first one I call!
