Get pricing in advance. they way overcharged us and then the owner who wrote the other review on this site ( Darren ) finally refunded almost half the money because of online reviews that I posted. The quality of there work was fine. Just don't get overcharged.

Hook up replacement whole house water filtration system

AVOID legacy Plumbing unless you want to get ripped off. The tech ( Paul )that came out to our house was a real crook.  A job that should have taken around an hour ended up taking over 3. Over an hour and 15 minutes of that time which was billed to me at a ridiculous $150 an hour rate!!!! was for Paul and his helper ( James ) to run over to home depot together??? ( can you say (paid by me) lunch break) which is only 10 minutes away to get parts that they should have already had with them. The job was a simple one - install a replacement a water purification system which came with all the parts except for one plastic shut off valve ( less than $5 bucks ), less than 10 feet of 3/4 inch plastic pipe (  less than $10 bucks ), and 5 elbow connectors  ( less than $5 bucks ). I paid a plumber 8 years ago only $100 total to install the last system. My father also asked for the tech to look at a shower head that was not working on his tub which ended up being clogged with sediment and just needed to be opened, washed out, and remounted and should have taken a whole 5 minutes to fix with no parts. What ended up happening is the tech ( Paul ) did not pay attention when he was disconnecting the fixture from the mounted tub and the hose that was attached to the fixture dropped down inside the small hole on the top of the tub where it could not  be reached. Because of the techs mistake we had to cut a 13" x 13" hole in the drywall from the master bedroom to access the bottom of the tub and if it wasn't for my 86 year old father making a wire hanger hook to grab the hose the tech would have never reached it and being charge for all the wasted time to fix his mistake. End result of everything:

A charge for 3 hours of work at $150!!! per hour when they were present less than 2 hours and should have had everything done in no more than an hour and a half.

Total hourly Fee's: $450

Was charged $125 for Parts that cost probably less than $20. Over a 600% markup

When my father complained they gave him a 5% senior discount: $28.75

Grand Total $546.25!!! For a job that I had done for $100 in the past. I didn't expect to pay more than $200.

Owner Darrin from Legacy Plumbing never returned my calls after two attempts. My father had better luck finally reaching him, however, all he did was whine and complain and try to justify that the price they charged us was justified. So, if you don't want to get ripped off avoid Legacy Plumbing at all cost.

Pretty funny that the only other review on this site for them is actually posted by the owner of the company playing off that he's a happy customer.
