As a first time buyer I've been trying to be smart and savvy and do everything by the book to make sure I don't get ripped off. Part of that was ensuring that I had a home inspector that knew his stuff inside and out and wouldn't be afraid to do a thorough check - I didn't want to get a falsely positive impression of my home by someone looking to make a quick buck.
On a recommendation I called Lucas at 20/20 Master Home Inspections. Lucas was extremely impressive - professional, polite, knowledgeable. As he's also an experienced home builder, its hard to question his knowledge base - this is NOT just some guy that took a 4 hour home inspection course.
As a young guy I was worried about getting spoken down to by experienced people in the inspection industry, but the experience was quite the opposite. I was eager to learn about all of the intricate details of my new property and Lucas took the time to explain everything that I needed to know, down to the smallest details. He even pointed out small jobs that I could do myself to make the house more efficient.
