My experience with weather-pro has been a bad one to say the least. Ive experienced complete incompetence from their office/management team and wouldnt recommend them whatsoever. Im now out an entire work week and the fee from the landfill for all the construction debris.
I found them via google and they seemed to have ok reviews so I went forward for the replacement of my patio door. On my first installation appointment I was no-showed and had to call many times to even get an answer as to why and how they planned to remedy the situation as Id driven home from work in Alberta for this appointment. Ive been working a province away for the month and made special arrangements to be home for my door installation. I was told they would be here between 2-4pm. The time came and went. I called at 430 (within business hours) to see if maybe they were just running behind. Got no answer at the office. Called the salesman who sold me the door couldnt get an answer as well. I left 3 messages that evening hoping to see what was up to no response. Frustrated I decided Ill call in the morning.
I got busy but expected a phone call that morning returning my messages but received nothing. I called their office again and got an answer at 1030 that morning. I found out they also had no idea their technician no showed my job. At 12 I find out he was sick. They take till 3:30pm that day to reschedule with a new team later that week so I had to remain in town, away from work for 5 days now just to see this job through.
The installers come and do a great job. Very competent at what they do and Im happy with the workmanship.
As theyre leaving they tell me weather-pro will be sending someone to come get the old door and construction debris from my home the following day. It has now been 4 days and the garbage is still here against my house and Ive received no communication from weather-pro as to their intentions.
I get it. Stuff happens and people get sick. Not the biggest deal but I the customer had to call countless times and nag just to find out what the situation was. At the end of it all I figure they may take off 100$ or something on a 6500$ job to possibly show some good will after having wasted all this time. This never happened and they fought me on any kind of discount saying it will come from the installers portion if they do that and Im not about to take money from hard working blue collar guys who werent the problem to begin with.
All in all I paid a premium full price for a job that was terribly executed and am now also left with the landfill bill for all of the construction mess/old door which I was assured they were coming to get.
