(This took place pre-Covid) We had damage to our exterior property and Tuppen came recommended by our insurance company. Although we had the right to get quotes from other companies, we went with them as it was easy. First mistake. After Karol quoted and we agreed to proceed, he was poor at returning calls, sometimes taking several days or we had to chase him down, and the whole process took months to complete. There were many frustrations and unprofessional little things along the way to mention, but the icing on the cake was after the work was complete and Tuppen submitted documentation to the insurance company, the document he submitted was fraudulent. It was not the original quote, but a doctored quote in attempt to change the amount of money that would be paid out. I called him out by submitting the original document to the insurance company myself, and the insurance company agreed to his false document. As homeowners, we were supposed to sign a Certificate of Completion before Tuppen got paid, which we refused to do, yet, they got paid anyways. That part is on the insurance company. I suggested to the insurance company that they not recommend companies that are unlawful and unprofessional, but not sure if they ever took this into consideration. I for one, caution potential customers to keep their distance from Tuppen.
