2 installers made bad decisions 5 times
Sending relaying work done complete in pictures to Platinum

The door wouldn't stay shut then opened from the outside when locked.
Strip of aluminum kept falling off, Insulation open at bottom of door. Air coming in bottom and sides and latch.
Honestly I wouldn't approve this storm door in my mother's or children's house .
They refused to send out another installer
This could be a fluke , bad measurements, but because of the good reviews I hired this company. In future I,ll hire storm door

Whether I ask platinum for the cost of a new storm door depends on how much the final cost is

Ive used Platinum to replace almost all of the windows in my 70+ year old house. High quality windows and doors, excellent customer-first approach to timing of installation, measuring, consultation, etc. Whether its Jims estimates or Maggies excellent customer service or the professionalism of the installers the experience has been seamless. Maybe thats why Ive always gone back to them!!

Recently, Platinum Windows and Doors installed a new front door and sidelight along with a new screen door for me. The people I dealt with made the whole process clean and simple from start to finish.

Jim, the sales agent, came to my home, took the first measurements, sat down with me and discussed all the options with samples and the catalogues while I took my time with colours, materials, styles and details. He was very patient and pleasant all the while, never pressured me into anything I wasnt sure about, and offered to cancel if I changed my mind.

Whenever I called the office to make an enquiry, Maggie would answer, always bright, cheerful and obliging. I especially found her beautifully articulate voice easy to hear and understand. There was never any mumbling or miscommunication in our dealings over the phone.

When the day finally came, two very capable and genial young men, Ricardo and Jesus, dismantled the old door and frame and put in the new without a mark on the wallpaper in my hallway. I was so relieved. They worked hard, were obviously skilled in their craft and left everything as tidy and clean as possible.

One problem arose. The new sidelight would not allow for the handle and lock on the screen door. That had to be left until they could return with a different lock and handle.
Once again, Jim discussed the options with me and patiently got me what I wanted after I changed my mind again and emailed him - over the weekend yet.

Later that week, Ricardo and Jesus returned at the end of a long days work elsewhere and, as promised, installed the new handle and lock. I realized then it came with only two keys, so I wrote to Maggie and asked for the name of the manufacturer and offered to pay for two extra keys because the local key shops didnt have the template to duplicate them for me.

No, said Maggie. They would get extras keys for me. No charge.

What else can I say? Im very happy with my new doors and especially with the way I was treated through the whole process.

- Rechecking measurements before booking materials for the order was a great review and enabled confirmation of what was needed.
- Installation was quick, and completed within one business day. The contractors were professional and courteous.
- Follow-up by the lead contractor went well, even with some scheduling challenges.
- Follow-up by Platinum Windows and Doors was a little unexpected, but was greatly appreciated. A great team indeed!

My experience with platinum was phenomenal. From my first visit from the sales reps, to the office answering all my questions and booking my installations to the installers. The installers did an amazing job! Thanks to all the teams! We highly recommend.

The entire team was professional, from the initial consultation to the installation . A month ago, I had a set of windows installed in my townhouse by Platinum.
For the initial quote and advice, I mainly dealt with Jim, their Senior Sales Advisor. He is very personable, knowledgeable and very kind to work with. Furthermore, I did also appreciated the level of customer service I got each time I contacted their head office.
The installation crew is comprised by people who bring forth all their expertise. I'm very satisfied with the overall quality of product and workmanship.
