Door and Deck Repair due to Leak
I contacted Chris at Remodel to assess some possible water damage coming into my walk-out basement apartment through the main door. Chris quickly assessed the damage and determined the french door needed to be taken out and water damaged areas replaced and the deck slope corrected. Rotten wood and brick molding was replaced, caulking removed from the bricks and rust treated on the steel intel. The french door was reinstalled complete with new PVC brick holding and exterior door frame painted - twice! Once the door was addressed, Chris adjusted the deck which was sloping toward the house, the main contributing factor of the leak. The deck posts were measured and installed with precision, and slope corrected - away from the house.
The level of care and detail Chris and his team demonstrated was really assuring, they were prompt, efficient and made sure the area was thoroughly cleaned when they were done. I will definitely utilize Remodel again - I am very appreciative of the workmanship and professionalism of Chris and his team.
