My Hayward pump needed a push on crimp connector ('16). The previous one had slipped off and I couldn't properly reattach it to the wires myself. As my pump was not running and my pool water therefore not circulating, I needed someone fast. I tried the first 6 companies listed in Homestars.com under an "Electrician" in "Durham" search. Brad was able to come out earlier than any of the others. He fixed the wire in about 30 minutes and my pump ran fine. It was more than I wanted to spend, but I had never asked him what his charge was going to be prior to the work. He was very courteous and professional.
Last summer ('19) I reached out to Emmons to fix the pump as once again the wiring was not working. He charged me the same amount but the problem was never fixed properly. With rain, moisture caused the circuit to trip, which was the problem all along. I explained the problem and all he could suggest was that I go out and buy some silicone to fix the problem. I did not get the impression he was interested in coming out and fixing the problem properly unless I paid the $150 again.
