I got 3 quotes from 3 different companies I found from Home Stars and I decided to go with Fortress windows not only because their quote was very competitive but Steve was very punctual, professional, knowledgeable and friendly. Throughout the renovation nightmare, I would say he was the only one who was ahead of schedule while other contractors are stalling the renovation. The installers were also very fast and they worked through the heat waves and finished the 12 windows and 1 patio door within 2 days. I would definitely recommend Fortress windows and I already have.

Fortress accommodated our request to have the installers work over the weekend. The installers, Yuri and his team, were very professional, respectful and did a great job. The installation and clean up was better than we expected. We are happy we got this huge job done by these guys.

This is our second experience with Fortress Windows & Doors. Water was starting to come into our house through our upstairs Bay Window. Both the Steves came out to assess the situation and we ended up installing new eaves and downspouts. Stephen Mercer's response to resolving our problem was extremely quick and within a week of contacting them the new eaves and spouts were installed. Stephen understood the urgency of the situation. Needless to say my wife and I are very pleased with the workmanship and service provided and the price was competitive with another company. We would, will and have recommended Fortress Windows & Doors to others.

We replaced three sliders with awning windows and we are very pleased with our new windows. We obtained two quotes and chose Fortress as Steve who came to give us a quote was knowledgeable and patient in answering our questions while he was there and our follow up questions via email. He seemed like a straightforward and plain-speaking kind of guy. Dave who came to install the windows was friendly and professional, conscientious and persevering (when he ran into a couple of snags), and he did a good job on cleaning up afterwards.

We recently used Fortress when we needed to replace 5 windows on our main floor. The issue for us was that they had to be retrofitted due to the fact that we had custom moldings around our windows and we did not want them replaced or damaged.
Steve McCue was our point of contact, he ensured us that the windows would be great quality and that the work would be done professionally and for us not to worry. Not only did Steve give us a great deal but he was bang on about the work.
We could not be happier with our installer Dave from the Soo. The windows are great but the workmanship was even better. There is no way you can tell that they are retrofits.

We just had Fortress Windows and Doors replace all seven windows on our main floor with energy efficient windows and couldn't be happier with the service we received. The windows were installed by Yuri and Gleb, and they completed their work very professionally, working right up to when the power went out due to a wind storm. Any questions we had that they couldn't answer were answered by Steve Mercer with a phone call and a visit the following day. We are very pleased with the work done by Fortress and would would recommend them to anyone needing windows.

We had Fortress acquire and install a custom size steel door for our garage back door. We are very happy with the Product (Door) and the installation. Dave (the installer) was amazing. He really went the extra mile with his flashing work inside and out. Also, he fixed both our front and back door so that they close without resistance. Great Job!
