Was having an issue with sliding patio door, Richard did an excellent and efficient job solving the issue, was very professional throughout the whole experience. He went above and beyond, I would highly recommend him and this company. Will definitely be using them for any future projects or renovations.

Had an issue with wind driven rain, leaking into new windows(not installed by fortress). Had a few other siding/window companies, come out and basically blame the windows/roof and from the dialog did not seem interested in the smallish job.

Luckily we Found Fortress Windows & doors on home stars, and got in contact with Steve.

Steve, was extremely expedient from the quote, to scheduling of the install of new siding.

I am "bit" hard to deal with, as I obsess over every detail. Steve was able to calm my nerves, and walk me through the entire process (sorry about the 40+ emails, and numerous calls).

The install was done professionally, the site was left clean, and the workmanship done by his crew is impeccable. We even ran into an issue that was not covered in the initial job quote (the top wood gable, leaked after the new siding install). Steve came out immediately, and went above and beyond, to get the crew back to remove the gable, and continue the siding all the way up.

My wife and I, are extremely thankful for the opportunity of dealing with Steve and fortress, and will definitely use them again for any future window/siding or door installs.

With condensation between the panes in two windows in the living room I was braced for the cost and disruption of replacing the entire window assembly. Fortress, however, determined that the window assembly was in good shape and only the glass needed to be replaced. What good news! Richard and Steve did an excellent job, exceptionally professional and pleasant. I could not be more pleased with the outcome.

Had our windows done 6 years ago. They still look brand new. New door now. Great service. Great staff. We will use them again. We needed windows replaced on the second and third story of our townhouse. I had four quotes from different companies and decided on Fortress Windows not only for their competitive price but I was so impressed with Richard and his professionalism, but also his enthusiasm, willingness and patience in answering numerous questions. The windows were ready on time, work was done quickly as was the clean up, the crew was the best. Richard came by a few days later to check the work and see whether we were satisfied. Rich is a great guy and was very knowledgeable and professional. We are new house-owners and so we knew very little about all of our options and Rich was extremely helpful in helping figure out what is best for our house without trying to oversell us anything. There were a number op optimization that rich was able to creatively look at and make sure the work was not just replacing but also fundamentally improving the drainage strategy.

What we agreed on was delivered in high quality on time. They worked extremely fast and it took less than half a day for our entire semi attached home. They did good clean up and Rich inspected everything afterwards.

We also worked with Fortress Windows & doors on our windows replacement and the windows themselves, the service, and the finished results were all top notch. We're very happy with our new windows.

Richard and the crew from Fortress were fantastic.
I needed a full replacement of my rooftop drainage system. Richard was so flexible and easy, came out quick to assess the job and was able to do so while I was remote and away.
Honest and professional, Richard quoted me on what I needed, not what he thought I should have. He also gave me excellent tips and found efficiencies that both simplified the job and controlled costs while still getting the best possible drainage.
The crew came on the day they said they were going to and Richard came to help supervise and give detailed instructions to the installers.
The installers worked incredibly and had the job done in 3 hours. What's more, they were very close to done when a heavy rain moved through - but they completed the job. I was stunned - fully expected them to leave and come back in better weather (totally understandable). But they stuck it through.
The work was quality but they offer a 25 year warranty on the materials and a shorter one on the workmanship. They left my property clean and free of debris, off-cuts, etc.
This is a side hustle for their company but you'd never know it. I'm happy with who recently did my windows and doors but if I ever need those redone while im in Toronto, I'll be calling Richard and Fortress again.
