Don't chose ADT. Period. They don't seem to have any interest in providing positive customer support. We've had an issue with our alarm panel beeping incessantly due to low batteries in the sensors, but there is no way to shut the beeping off. Invariably it happens at night, and while you can "Pause" the beeping for a few hours, it's not enough to allow you to sleep through the night. The beeping returns every four hours. We were told that we could buy an upgraded panel to gain the option of not hearing these low battery alarms at night, and to have the option to turn off the low battery alarms for more than four hours. This seems ridiculous to me that they wouldn't have those most basic features on every panel. I've contacted the company several times to ask for information about a different panel and they never get back to me. We'll be cancelling our service as soon as we've set up with a new company.
