Shane Renovations

Shane Renovations has basically been passed around my neighbourhood because everyone is so pleased with their work. They did a wonderful job doing a complete renovation of our basement. It went from a typical moldy, old-looking space to two beautiful bedrooms, a bathroom and a kitchenette. These guys are the most professional people I’ve ever worked with. They are amazing. They tidy up every day, they’re very courteous, they’re on time. I also really appreciated how considerate they were of our budget. They even worked with me to make a long term plan of renovations for my home, knowing that we couldn’t do it all at once and my home will eventually need more work since it was built in 1926. All and all we were more than satisfied and we would absolutely recommend them.

I heard these guys were good so I gave them a shot. They went above and beyond my expectations for the first project, taking out a wall/window and putting in sliding glass door to porch. I was so impressed I hired them again to do major reno work on my bathroom, and again they were fantastic. Shane gave me the quote and he was really thorough talking about the projects. Brad, the project manager was super helpful. And Jeremy and Sean who did most of the physical work were great. I’ve worked with other contractors and these guys are top shelf. I recommend them.

We are absolutely thrilled with all the work Shane Renovations did on our bungalow home. From the new garden room and bed room and the new garage complete with insulation and a fireplace, it’s all amazing. We had the best 5 months working with them. Dom was wonderful, scheduled everyone like clockwork and the add-ons at different times. The workmanship was excellent. Any issues were taken care of immediately. I would very highly recommend them.

The team from Shane Renovations did an awesome job re-sheathing our roof! The buys came over and re-sheathed the roof in record time. They are an awesome group of guys who sure know how to get the job done!

I started to redo my roof, and realized I had to redo the sheathing underneath. These guys came out after hours to help me finish the job before the rain hit. Fantastic crew, and highly recommend them.

They basically did all the construction when I remodelled my store. I found out about them through a friend and I've got to be honest, they were very good. This was the second time they had ever done retail so they were learning as they went along. It went on longer than I would have liked but that was because of unforeseen things. It's in an old building so a lot of unexpected situations came up. Shane was very good throughout the project and I'd give them a 10 out of 10.

We've done three projects with them in total. The first was a small front deck, the second was an addition to the house which was was about 700 square feet altogether, and the third was the basic work for my kitchen renovation (they gutted it, and reworked the wiring and plumbing). I installed the IKEA kitchen myself but they got the room ready for me. I remain loyal to them because they do good work and do their utmost to maintain their schedule (it only gets disturbed when it's out of their control). Their prices are very competitive too (they're not the cheapest price around). I give them a 9 out of 10 because nobody is perfect.

We've known them for over 10 years so I really don't remember how we first heard of them. Whatever we needed done they did it, found the best people to do it and with no mess afterwards. He's done all kinds of stuff for us. Most recently in December he built us a large garage and a room above the garage that's made to feel like a cottage. Shane has always had a presence, which is great, and Brad, Jeremy, Lucas and Shawn have always been awesome too.

I found out about them from a postcard in the mailbox and seeing their signs around the neighbourhood. I had gotten two quotes from other companies but they blew us away with everything they said and how they presented it, I felt safe with them. They did a large addition for us that included the master bedroom, ensuite washroom and media room along with renovations to other areas of our original home. I've given so many referrals for them because they were just amazing. After we had a flood from the terrible storms back in June 2011, Shane himself came running to the rescue to help us at 1am, above and beyond! He is a great leader, thinks outside the box which we loved and his team adores him its easy to see. They were right on time and kept us updated with an online schedule of events, communication was A1! They're a solid team of builders and work amazing together...highly recommend them to everyone!
