I was really excited to get my condo upgraded to laminate flooring Aug 2017 as i finally saved up enough money to have this done. I chose Floors by Comfi as they did my inlaws floors. They first booked me in and i had nobody show up the day I took off work to have floors installed. I spoke to the owner Joe and he apologized that no one wrote my appt down in the books. He then made an appointment and told me that Trevor would be coming. The day of, he was over an hour late. He took all day to install floors and by the end of the day when it was getting late I could tell he wanted to leave and was really rushing to get it done. After it was done i was really happy with how it looked...UNTIL we started noticing the fine details. (see photos- glue showing, the shoe moulding looking terrible, bad cutting and piecing together, spaces between the corners and floor - replace the bedroom trim with a more heavy duty trim like in the bathroom doorway. Also he said he would fill in the big space between our floor and patio door. It is trapping a whole lot of dirt and grime being open and not filled in!! )
I sent emails complaining that i wanted it redone, and 1 year later eventually Trevor came back and fixed some things but said he had to come back and fix the rest as he did not have the materials with him. It's been 2 years of me waiting for the repairs and I now receive an email, not a phone call saying quote "Trevor has given us his notice that he no longer wants to have our work given to him. At his request, I have no communication with him. Unfortunately I do not know what the moulding is that he used for the one area or why he left a gap. I cannot find anyone who is able to go to your place and fix the issues. Here is Trevor's cell phone so that you can contact him directly"
I find this unacceptable as a business to not find someone else to come and fix the floor repairs. Customer Service is NIL as they send emails and do not call you on the phone after I have have asked numerous times for the owner to call me. So now I am left with a condo to sell and my floor needing repairs to be fixed.
I would not recommend this company due to their lack of responsibility of repair regardless if that employee has left the company. Find someone else to do it in your company.
