Regal Design + Build

Arash & Ramin came referred to me by a good friend. They were described as young professionals with incredible work ethic and passion for their craft. Trained by the best in the city of Toronto, They are not only great at designing, building, and structural engineering, but also have really good project management skills. This was our first renovation project that we worked on with Regal Design+Build. which was an absolute success. We have received awards for the project due to its high level of craftsmanship, attention to details, and originality. Everything from the floor to the cabinetry and the custom lights were designed and built by their teams.  

Our two main criteria for selecting the contractor for our dream house were: 1. Someone we could trust and felt comfortable dealing with. 2. Someone that was capable of communicating every detail of the progress on the site, and overseeing the project every day. 3. A company who really understood modern architecture and paid attention to detail. We investigated many builders, interviewed four of them, and then narrowed it down to two who provided us with their initial proposals with their thoughts on budget and timeline. Ultimately we picked Regal Design Build and are glad that we did. Regal Design Build completely delivered on our expectations with respect to communication that included almost daily e-mails, texts, and phone calls.  Through this detailed communication and the ongoing dialogue RDB ultimately delivered on our first criteria: Trust. With respect to attention to detail, every aspect of the build was scrutinized by them. The natural elements and finishings of our house would make any fine furniture builder envious and the joinery is nothing short of exquisite.

RDB will not be the least expensive builder. However, we can honestly say that you would be hard-pressed to find a builder that will pay closer attention to details and deliver the quality and ultimately give you the value for your money that RDB will for you.  You get what you pay for.  It has been my experience that a home that is well built the first time by passionate individuals is worth more than a few dollars you may think you are saving by going with the cheaper, less qualified bidder. The individuals that we dealt with on the site were all an absolute joy to deal with and we now have an ongoing friendship with them.  That’s on its own is an ultimate testament to a successful project. We still get compliments from our new neighbours along the lines of "we miss those polite young men who built your home" or " I have never seen such a ridiculously tidy construction site.

At the end of the day we are looking forward to the possibility of future projects with Ramin and Arash and their crew and a lifetime of visits from our friends to our new house.
