Please, please, please do not hire a company without a signed quote!!! No matter what the emergency you will save yourself months of harassment and headache. These guys were at my house for 2 days to clean up a wet basement (8 hours a day), had a dumpster at my house for 4 hours, left fans running for 2 1/2 days before picking them up. That is it! Nothing more.
The good: They were fast and smile a lot.
The bad: I had removed the excess water before they arrived - the basement was just wet. TOTAL PRICE: $18,341.00 - and that was with me working alongside them while they were there and after they had gone for the day.
Despite multiple requests over 2 days for an update on the price I was told nothing - they knew I was covered under insurance (with a cap mind you). I finally found out how much they charged when I called my insurance company and asked them. Elite sent the invoice directly to the insurance company - perhaps hoping I would never see or question the services. My insurance company sent them so I trusted them - WRONG! I found out later that they charged twice as much as anyone else would have. Luckily I kept track of who was at my house and how long they were there so I had some record to dispute the cost.
There are far too many companies charging whatever they want because it's covered under insurance.

Thanks for the feedback unfortunately there are certain circumstances where no matter what we do or no matter how many hurdles we jump over to satisfy a client it becomes clear that they are unwilling to be satisfied. We wish this homeowner the best.
