Mike parged our front concrete block porch. The old block foundation around the porch was crumbling. Mikes expertise made it possible to resurface the blocks giving it a much better appearance and structure. He also resurfaced our old concrete stairs. We would highly recommend his services.

M Scott did a nice clean job, accommodating my construction schedule and delivering the installation of a solid 5" floor that can withstand heavy loads should I need to repair any heavy equipment in the shop. I was also provided with guidance on the finish as I was originally thinking of the 'buffed to a shiny glass like finish' for the floor until Mike pointed out that when I come into the shop in the winter with snowy boots the shiny finish can be dangerously slippery. I went for the slightly rougher finish and glad that I did.

Mike completed the breezeway floor between our garage and drive shed. He repaired a downspout drain, constructed the formwork, placed the reinforcing steel, ordered, placed and finished the concrete floor and constructed short walls to tie in into the existing structures.

As a retired structural engineer, I have a good knowledge of how concrete work should be done, and Mike did everything right.

This is the second time we have contracted Mike to work on our property. Mike broke up, removed and disposed of the existing concrete driveway (about 75 feet long), then graded the base to account for a two-way slope. He and his team poured concrete and finished the surface in one day’s work, carefully working around sewer clean outs, new masonry and an old oak tree. The next day, he did all the scoring and sealing as needed.

I'll be honest, I don't know much about parging, and would be hard pressed to tell a good job from a bad job. But our neighbour is an engineer who runs a company that teaches home inspection. The first time Mike did the parging our neighbour was super impressed and so years later we hired him again. Aside from a terrific parging job, Mike comes when he says he'll come, finishes when he says he'll finish (weather permitting of course) and is a nice, trustworthy person. We'll hire him again unhesitatingly.

Mike did a fantastic job pouring and finishing a new garage slab and part of a shared driveway. His skill was clearly evident and even our snow removal contractor commented on the quality of the finish on the driveway and he should know as he see many drives! Mike and his team were part of a double garage renovation. They laid a new garage floor on one side and then poured and finished a large apron in front of both garages.
