We hired Smooth Moving to move us out of our two bedroom apartment to our very first Home we where so excited with the new home and because we had to move during the week we had to hire a moving company to help out. Our agreement was three movers and they quoted us about 5-7 hours to move us well that was a joke on us let me tell you they showed up with two guys one of them had emphysema and it was his first day on the job so we basically only had one experienced mover. It took them a total of 12 hours to move us and in the process they had damaged our couch, one night stand, our kitchen table, our buffet table, our wardrobe, coffee table, our Driveway with the hydraulic lift from the truck, a camera, a kitchen leather chair & much much more.
We when with Smooth moving because they had a good insurance policy and they where able to send us three movers because we only had the elevator for three hours at our apartment... What a mess I have never been more terrified and upset in my whole life they destroyed our furniture and so many items that meant so much to us when we contacted the owner to let him know that the movers where not professional and that they where not covering our furniture with blankets and that they where getting a really long time to move one item at a time the owner said that he was too busy at that he what settle everything that they had damaged after.... Well that was not true after the move we tried contacting the owner again and he said that he was not replacing or fixing anything, my reaction was stunned at this point we where stuck they where holding all of our furniture in their truck and was not letting anything out until we paid the $800 dollars for the move. We where stuck so we paid the $800 to get our furniture out of the truck. So many of our things where damaged because they did not strap anything down in the truck....WHAT A MESS.
Watch out people Smooth Moving is not a professional company the owner is getting temp people to work for them just so that they can make a buck... Stay away from this company and please tell all your friend I would hate to see other go through what we had to go through. Check out some of the damages that they caused during the move that the company will not replace or pay for.

I have only found out thatsomeone by the name of my company had been using our name and just claimed it back that wad not our people you have dealt with but they were a scam wearer the real smooth moving partnered with U-Haul we have never had these types of incidents throughout the whole time we have been servicing our customer sorry about your experience.!
