Awful company, dishonest, no service and Mo returns

Do not trust them. There is no remedy if you have a problem. Maytag fridge has been broken 3 Times in 2 years. Now I am stuck with it. Called coastal the same day I received the fridge due to problems and they don’t take returns.

Horrible fraudulent company

This company is the worst most immoral, complacient and unprofessional company I have ever dealt with in my life. They are also fraudulent and owe me $4300. As a business owner myslef i was completely disgusted by the way they treat thier customers, thier lack of compotence and thier complete disregard of customer service.

Here is a summary of my expreience

- Incorrect Specs were given by Coast to the builder for countertop cut out.
- Cooktop could not be installed because entire kitcen built around incorrect applicance specs that Coast provided.
- Appliances left sitting on my kitchen floor for a month and a half
- The company never gets back to its customers
- When they do they give you a run around
-Had to return old oven for smaller cheaper unit to avoid tearing apart kitchen
- Left without ability to cook for over a month and a half with young daugther that could not be fed and had to live somewhere else.
- Never told that installation was not included (had to find seperate installer)
-$3,000 error made on invoice that I had to catch myself.
-Company tried to bill me for two dishwashers.
-Oven broke in 10 days of use and was not repaired for 2 weeks
-3 visits required to repair oven
-Tech damaged oven trying to repair it
-Tech broke entire cabinet and snapped the wood support trying to reinstall built-in oven.
-Tech left huge gashes in hardwood floor reinstalling oven
-Tech scraped up cabinetry trying to install oven
- Wrong size hoodfan given, hoodfan not installed for 2 months due to negligence
-For all of the above 15 days had to be taken off work to accomodate contractors that came by for no purpose and fixed nothing
-No resoloution provided

To top everything off they came to get the hoodfan and cooktop from me and replace it with a lower grade model that would fit due to the mistake they made... after 20 phone calls and 10 emails they have still not refunded the difference in cost between the original products and new products which is $4300 (FOUR THOUSAND THREE HUNDRED DOLLARS). They are now dodging emails, it seems like this company may be on the brink of bankrupcy and cant complete the refund. Please any potential customers of this company, if you value your home, your time and your money... choose another vendor.

Samsung appliances

I bought 5 pieces of Samsung appliance from coast appliance before Christmas, then found all three shelf with crack after assembled two days ago. Samsung and Coast appliance both refuse to replace the parts. Customer support agent from Samsung and operator from Coast appliance were very rude, refuse to do anything.

Coast appliance are always very sucks. Just because of my builder, otherwise I never want to deal with them by any chance.

Samsung is suck too, I had Bosch appliance before, parts and service were very good.

Kitchen renovation

Our experience to Coast in Regina was listening to another salesperson telling our salesperson how he spent so much time with a couple for them to only purchase a microwave. That should have been our clue but no. We put a down pmt on an order of a Fridge, double oven, gas cook top, microwave, hood fan and extension for the fan. Total cost over $11,000 with a promise date of mid Aug. we now find out that some of the appliances are here however we are still waiting on cook top which as per Coast will be here mid Sept. however we sent an inquiry direct to WhirlPool and they are saying the earliest it will be off back order is early Oct. so I told our sales rep we are going to cancel the order and get it from another store (which has one in stock) he says it was a special order and there is a no money back guarantee hmm appliances they have in showroom and sell are now a special order???? So as it stands we have to wait until one comes in and who knows when it will arrive, as the only response we receive is I can't do anything about it. Will definitely not shop here again.

4 piece appliances

We bought a new home in Markham in Apr 2014 and builder included appliances at Coast appliances. We were told to call and make an appointment with our voucher but was told we are too early because our closing date is in Apr 2015. We were never given the option to get custom appliances (cook-top, 36' range etc). We called again in Oct 2014, they said we are still too early. Called again in Dec, too early. This went on almost every 2 months until March 2015 when the rep finally told us we can set up an appt. When we got there, she said there are new appliances coming in and there should be no problem getting it on time before our closing date but we have to wait until Apr to go in again so we can get the latest pricing. We listened to her and called back in Apr. The earliest appointment was Apr 25 and our closing date is Apr 30th. Of course, our appliances was not ready as she had promised. We moved in and lived without a fridge, stove, laundry. Two weeks later, the laundry, gas stove and fridge came. However, they did not send enough delivery guys to bring the fridge to our 2nd floor kitchen. The fridge was left on the foyer until the next day when the delivery guys came back to move it upstairs. We called for laundry installation and the guy never called back. He finally gave us a date but without a time. He said he would call to confirm but never did until I called the day of. He then told us to send someone home RIGHT AWAY because he is in the area. At this point, it is already May 27th. We lived without a fridge, stove for 2 weeks, without laundry for almost a month and still without a dishwasher because it is back ordered and the rep never gave us an update on the status. Over all, this whole appliances experience has been terrible and I hope no one ever has to deal with these people again. They should not even be in business in the first place.

Coast Appliances

I recently moved into my new home and went with Coast Appliances for my fridge, stove, dishwasher, washer & dryer. The builder had provided standard appliances but I wasn't keen on them. Borg Pedersen from Coast Appliances assisted me to upgrade the appliances that I wanted and the prices were very reasonable. I was even eligible for a rebate from the manufacturer! Thanks Borg for the professionalism and customer service. Recommended!

We'd like to thank Borge Pedersen from Coast Appliances for his excellent customer service and guidance in helping us furnish our kitchen with a beautiful set of Electrolux appliances. We're very happy with our selection!
