I had to replace my 3 windows and Alma was the 2nd quote that I have recieved. They phoned me (telemarketer kind of thing) and I thought why not get another FREE quote. So I did, and sure enough the price was right for me and I liked what they had to offer me. I also had 3 metal awnings to remove over the windows which they did at no extra charge. The 2 guys putting in the window were very professional and friendly. Easy to understand. Excellent job and would definately use Alma again.

ALMA replaced 7 windows in our house.
The service was impeccable. The sales person Leon was very knowledgeable and selected the best option for us. It was, honestly even cheaper that I thought. He took all the measurements and signed the contract at our place.
The installation was done while I was at work with only my wife at home. Everything was perfect and clean when I returned in the evening.
It's been two years and there is nothing wrong with the installed windows: no leaks, they still open and look great.
Our house is 40 years old and we replaced almost everything in it. ALMA is the only one that we had no problem with whatsoever.

On time, on budget, great price promotion. ALMAs representative was professional. Every speck of debris was cleaned up both inside and out. They explained product warranties and showed us operational benefits. Highly recommend for your next window or door project.

We thought we were getting a great deal from these guys. On installation day, the workers removed our old front window by shattering it and smashing it repeatedly (leaving dozens of shards of glass behind that still remain on my lawn to this day). One of them walked along my bedroom wall dragging his toolbelt along my newly painted wall and scratching off the paint. None of them spoke English. Two of them argued loudly about one of the windows. When we asked what was wrong, they said "nothing" and continued arguing. We called the sales rep because we were concerned about how it was going, and he said to wait an hour for the installer to come, because the men there were only helpers. The job was completed and they left without us ever seeing the installer. Flashing has a huge gap and is angled towards the house (not away from it like it should be). Can't get service to come back and fix it. Windows are crap - just as drafty as my old aluminum frames from the 80s.

BEWARE OF ALMA WINDOWS. DO NOT HIRE THESE PEOPLE OR INVITE THEM INTO YOUR HOME

The installer did not put up tarps around our property, but instead smashed out old wood (lead-painted) window frames and back door frame and threw the debris all over our property. Our property is now totally contaminated with lead.

The window installation itself was done well and the windows are good quality. However, the door was installed crookedly and it rubs on one corner. You can clearly see if you stand in front of it that there is a larger gap at the top than at the bottom. Dummies.

As if it couldn't get any worse, near the end when putting the aluminum fascia over the threshold of the door the guy made a wrong cut. Instead of replacing the piece with a new one, he cut another, smaller piece of aluminum and just screwed it on like a patch. The fascia isn't even level, and the caulking has already come apart because he tried to use it as glue. It looks horrible, and is getting worse the more we step on the threshold. (Edit: after 10 phone calls and a threatening message, they came back and made it slightly less awful. It is still shoddy workmanship though).

I would not recommend this company. The gross disregard for our property, poor customer service and lack of attention to detail give these guys a THUMBS DOWN.
