Ecklundson Construction

We contracted Ecklundson Construction Ltd. to build our new dream home in Benson Meadows. From the very fist meeting with Rod we knew that we were in good hands. He was the president of the home builders association and came with a shinning recommendation from a roofing company that re roofed our existing home.

I wanted to gift a home to my daughter, I shared this idea with Ecklundson Construction team, them came to my home and advised me to renovate my home and they will make it tow partition in the same place. It worked fantastic and gifted a new home for my daughter.

I hired Rod of the EC Group to build our new home in the north end of Nanaimo. We were looking to have a 3 bedroom rancher with 3 bathrooms, when we were doing our search for a general contractor we were recommended to speak with Rod through a colleague at work. He was very professional and exuded confidence in understanding what we were looking for and was respectful to our budget restraints. We we very happy about the way they communicated to us throughout the process and they chose great subtrades that cleaned up after themselves as we have had issues with others leaving behind a horrible mess. There was a small delay on the flooring for the home as the initial product delivered was not the right color and did not match the living room. But overall we are very happy with the home and how things went and would recommend Ecklundson Construction.

When we were looking for a GC to build a new custom home for us we took our time and made sure that they were a great fit. We checked with our friends and family as well as other homes that had been built on the street that The EC Group was a great selection. We interviewed them and after doing some reference checks quickly learned why they came so highly recommended. They really took care of us and even gave us a free vacation for 2 to Mexico with a promotion that they had running. Thanks again for helping us to manage our new home construction and the break in Mexico was very much enjoyed!!! We would recommend to anyone for any renovation or new home construction. Thanks

We were looking to upgrade our lamintae floors to Hardwood and contacted Rod for an estimate. They came into our house and did a very honest measure and even did the closets. The other contractors just had a brief look and then gave us a number. They were right on for the amount of flooring we needed to order and had it istalled and it looks amazing! Thanks again for making our home look amazing!

We hired Ecklundson construction to do our bathroom renovation. We had a full jetted tub installed and a stand up shower. They were very professional and did a great job I would highly recommend them to anyone.

Earlier this year I hired EC to come in and take care of some renovations that were outside my scope of ability. The kitchen received new cabinets, sink and counter-top, while the bathroom required a little more work. I've done a fair amount of my own maintenance and repair to my places over the years, but I wanted this place done right. I was really surprised with how easy EC made everything for me. They contacted all the suppliers and contractors for me and made sure that prices were very competitive. Rod kept track of everything really well and made sure that I was happy the entire way through. The bathroom being renovated was a challenge for me, because I live and work from home, so having downtime for clients conveniences was a worry of mine. Rod made sure to schedule the bathroom services to be done as quickly as possible, and the entire process took less then 3 weeks from start to finish. I love the way the granite brings a classy atmosphere into my home and office, and I would definitely talk to these guys for my next place's facelift!

I hired Ecklundson construction to build a deck off the back of my house. The deck has some special engineering requirements due to the height above the ground and the grade in the back yard, but they handled the project quite well. Deck is sturdy, and the service was fully acceptable.
