Computer service (iMac)

When our iMac screen would not come on, we called Claudio at 8am and he scheduled a home service call for 10am on the same day !
He arrived on time and was very quick to solve our problem.
While he was at our home he also upgraded our OS and our Anti-Virus for better protection. Great service, I would recommend him to anyone having computer troubles. Thank you Claudio !

Solid Service, Great Results

Quite happy with the quality of service provided after my wife’s laptop wouldn’t take a charge anymore. Claudio came to the house and quickly diagnosed the issue as being a faulty power brick, after determining that the jack (which we thought might be the problem) was working correctly. Brick was replaced with a more robust model, and everything worked fine afterwards. He also offered to do more work on the laptop configuration/software, however we declined as we were content with the existing setup.

Awful Customer Service

I contacted this company to order and install a new fan in my laptop. I was told the work would be completed "by the end of the week" after giving them my VISA number. Over a month has gone by and now they don't return phone calls or emails. I've tried everything I can think of to contact them without success including social media. I'm concerned they are not legit.

Asus Laptop Repair

Professional efficient service. Went the extra mile to explain options to consider before proceeding with hard drive replacement and other do-hicky techno stuff.
Fast fabulous and no hick-ups in the system operations, it’s been great to have a responsive laptop these past 2 weeks.

Computer duplication and software removal.

I do recommend Nerds2You for people during COVID and those unable to travel, however, when Claudio arrived at my home, over 1 hour late he was very belligerent and put me down many times with rude comments which I didn't bother arguing about. He asked me what search engine I used and I told him Yahoo which he said, wasn't and maybe I didn't know the difference between a portal and a search engine. Again, I didn't want to argue, however Claudio, Yahoo! is an Internet portal that incorporates a search engine and a directory of the WWW. If you want a put-down service, then Claudio is the perfect technician.
I got very tired of his so-called intelligent put-downs that I cut short our appointment and when he presented me the bill for which I feel I was overcharged, as to the real-time he provided his service, between answering his phone calls and not deleting all the background stuff that was left and still running on the programs he was supposed to have deleted. It's nice that he provides this type of service, but I don't want him in my house to tell me how smart he is and how dumb I am. I have during my professional career, started and ran many large companies over my 45 years in business, and no matter how smart Claudio thinks he is, I would have fired him if he treated any customers like he treated me!
Regrets,
D. Wulf

Computer repair

I normally wouldn't think of making a public statement like this, but I figured if it saves someone the grief then it's worth the trouble.

I recently had Claudio from Nerds 2 You come into my home to fix my computer because of a keyboard and mouse pad connectivity problem. In order to do my editing I basically had to use an external mouse rather than the mousepad. Annoying, but other than that, my computer was in good condition. I read this company's reviews and everything looked pretty legit.

When he visited he told me it was a cable problem and proceeded to dismantle my computer in attempts to repair it. He also told me my battery was "pretty much fried and about to catch fire" and I should order a new one together with the new cable.

He kept talking about how Macs are the worse computers out there and they all fail the same way. Now, I'm not computer savvy at all so what I didn't realize at the time is that he had destroyed the original batter by forcing it out and that's why he was ordering a new one.

When he returned to install the parts a few days later he told me the new cable wasn't working and he needed to reorder the cable as it was "probably a manufacturing problem" but it would be just a couple of days.

Several days passed and I didn't hear from him. I do editing work so without a properly working computer, I had my clients anxiously waiting to get their packages in a timely manner. I called him to ask what was taking so long and he replied he'd never heard of a photographer not using a mouse to edit, so he thought I was ok to wait. I was ticked off so he offered to "squeeze me into his tight schedule for the following week"

When he visited next he worked on it for a bit and then proceeded to inform me that this was actually not a cable problem but he could order more parts to repair it. But if I did not want to spend the money he'd reimburse me for the cable and battery. At this point, I wasn't convinced he knew what he was talking about and told him to just leave it there. So he put the old battery back and left.

This is when the fun began as my computer started constantly crashing and giving me error messages. Now it cannot be moved or even touched sometimes without it crashing. I called him back immediately to let him know what was happening and sent him an email with screen-shots of all error messages. His response: "oh how odd, I've never heard of a Mac giving these kinds of errors". Then his phone "glitched" and the call got disconnected.

When I called back it went straight to voice mail. I have since left several messages on his phone. No response. So basically (I'm a bit embarrassed to admit) I paid this person to come and break my working computer.

For a company that advertises "Being Best in Edmonton 2 years in a row", this unprofessional behaviour is completely outrageous. And I felt it should put out there. People get away with these kinds of things because people like me are too mad (or embarrassed) to speak about it. Sorry pal, this is NOT ok. So, lesson learned, but this is my review of your "services" and it's going everywhere. Hopefully, it'll save others some grief and money.

Laptop fix

Claudio, came and initially was good. He got my sage up and running and that was my major concern. In the process my office software was lost. I called him and requested he come and locate and reinstall the files. he was reluctant but did come. He did nothing, but left me a note to say that I would have to buy a new program. I called him and asked why he did nothing. He tried to tell me that he spoke to another worker who told him that he did not know if we had discs so Claudio left. I asked him why he didn't just call me. He tried arguing to defend himself, once he became belligerent I hung up. I got someone else in to fix it which took about 10 minutes. Not impreessed with this Claudios customer service, or lack there of!
