Ace Paving

Dave and the crew from Ace Paving came to pave the driveway in June 2014. Once the work was completed, it was immediately noticed that the grade was sloping toward the house. Numerous emails were sent to Dave to come back to repair the issue. (There was a minimum 6" fall from the highpoint on the far side to the house.)I was told that the repair would be done asap. In August Dave sent out a subcontractor to install a ridge at the edge of the driveway to divert the water. I told the contractors not to do this as I wanted the complete side to be regraded, not only a 3' x 8' patch. The subcontractor did this work anyway, which still didn't resolve the issue but also added patchy work to the existing driveway. I am still waiting for the complete side to be regraded so water diverts away from the house.

Dave's price was competative and the work done by his crew was professional and clean. A friend of mine recommended him, I will now recommend Ace Paving to others. Great job, Dave

Dave and his team did a great job of replacing my old driveway with a new one, they showed up on time and were very tidy when it was completed. Dave was able to beat two other companies for price and I am extremely happy with the work that they have done. I would use Ace paving for future work for myself or friends, Thanks again Dave and team.

I am increasingly disappointed in the service. Paving was carried out last summer, and was of poor quality. Some rough areas, near the house entrance door, were harder to walk on than raw gravel with bare feet. After only 1 winter numerous large, deep cracks appeared. The one bottom corner developed a very deep pocket around a foot in diameter and two feet long, at a depth of over an inch. The area along a retaining concrete wall is very rough and flares upwards, as if it was being pushed from below. My original complaint, which included all these items, was emailed to Ace in March 2014, and the warranty work still is not completed. The crew came out for about half an hour, to torch up the biggest crack, said that they would return to complete additional repairs, but have never returned, as promised, to finish the warranty repair. Overall, my satisfaction is very low. I would not recommend these folks to anyone. The one year warranty is not worth the paper it is printed on.

Work was performed in a timely manner, I got exactly what I asked for, they kept the job site tidy at all times, and cleaned up at conclusion.

Ace paving is one of a kind. We had a concrete driveway that we wanted extended and removed and replaced with asphalt. Dan was amazing and helpful to deal with and when we met Dave and his crew when it came time to the grading etc they were Amazing!
We will definitely be using them again and referring everyone we can to them!
