A few years ago, we finished our basement and replaced carpeting in the family room with wood flooring. Andre was very knowledgeable and extremely helpful in suggesting options, addressing issues and ensuring that the work was completed to our satisfaction. A year later, my elderly mother had been hospitalized for 6 weeks when we received a call that her condo had been flooded. The wood flooring in 70% of her unit was destroyed and she was supposed to be released in a week to go home. I called Andre who went to evaluate the damage that same day and jumped into action right away by installing large fans to help draw out the moisture and having his team move her furniture carefully out of the way. He collaborated with her insurance company, found the exact same flooring to replace the ruined one and ensured that his workers were free to do the job as soon as they were given the go ahead. When done, he sent a cleaning company so that my mother could walk back into her safe, clean home as if nothing happened. The condo below hers was also flooded and they were looking for a flooring company, therefore I referred Andre to them. They thanked me so much after the job was completed. They were extremely impressed and grateful with the workmanship, his genuine care, and timely proficiency. We used Pro Floor Contractors to install new engineered hardwood flooring through our entire main floor and upper level and highly recommend them. From first contact Andre took the time to explain the process to us and his quote was very detailed and competitive compared to the others I had.

From demo to install, the entire team were very polite and courteous and always cleaned up at the end of each day. Once the install started they always arrived on time and stayed on schedule; the installers are very meticulous about their work. Andre checked in with me daily to make sure everything was going okay. As we were renovating other aspects of the house as well, Andre was always quick to respond to assist with problems and find solutions. Andres communication was exceptional- he always kept in touch about any changes or the schedule- this was so appreciated as most of the other trades involved in our renovation, it seemed we were constantly chasing and not hearing anything back. Once the job was done there was no hidden extra fees or extra costs from the original quote.

We were living in the house with young kids during our renovation and Andre was always mindful of making it work for us with minimal disruption. Other services we looked into seemed to just want to slap down a floor, whereas Andre and his team took the time to evaluate the subfloor and make suggestions for repairs. We feel much more confident knowing our investment will last now that the subfloor is sturdier. The installers worked diligently and the result is a beautiful, sturdy floor! Pro Floor Contractors recently completed the installation of Engineered Hardwood Floor at my parents condo. The price was very competitive and the work was excellent. However, what was truly exceptional was their kindness and integrity. My parents are elderly. The disruption and chaos in their condo left them very stressed and distraught. When we asked Andre for an estimate to replace the damaged wood, he came immediately. He prioritized the work as he saw how stressed my parents were. Andre and Matt found ways to move furniture around to condo to avoid storage costs. They did this with so much care and respect for my parents beloved belongings. Matt worked efficiently and completed the work as scheduled. Andre kept us abreast of the progress. He is an amazing project manager: present and available to answer questions and always thinking of the best ways to make things easier for my parents. Their interactions with my parents were always so respectful and kind. The new floor was beautiful and my parents were so happy.

Andre came for a site visit to provide an estimate and talked with me while going through my condo to advise what could/would be done and provided me options of where I could save in terms of cost. A lot work of work was involved, with the removal of tiles, carpet, and existing laminate flooring. He provided an itemized sheet detailing the cost of the work involved and material to be purchased. Andre was very communicative responding promptly to inquiries and provided daily updates of the work to be done and what was done at the of the day. Andre will give you a fair quote and professional attention, from timely invoices to email/phone confirmations at every step. Andre and his installers are friendly, fast, caring and competent. I had carpet removed and laminate installed on two floors of my townhouse, and I love the result. The floors look beautiful, with excellent attention to detail (thoughtful advice on the direction of the laminate, great balancing of the pattern across the floor, lovely nosing, beveling of quarter round around baseboards, etc). Plus, Andre backs up his work with a five-year guarantee. They were recommended by a friend, and I would certainly recommend these installers myself to a friend without reservation. we had two separate projects in our home; did not know Pro Floor C's before Jan2015. Andre and his crews performed two difficult jobs of laying hardwood floors at our home.
