Bensimon Design, Custom Fine Carpentry

Had Bensimon design and build decorative beams and add closets to our master bedroom. It was great to have a contractor contribute to a design and enhance what we had originally envisioned. John did the carpentry work and was great to work with, produced high quality, and when we had an issue with the drywall, he quickly and effectively resolved it. Would recommend this company to anyone. Our only reason for 9 out of 10 was that it was difficult for Bensimon to find available capacity for our job, so we waited a number of months. In this market however, we did appreciate that they stuck with it and didn't just refuse the work.

Moise thank you for designing and fabricating the perfect ledge shelves for my sons room. The dimensions are perfect as you promised. They are nicer than the pottery barn ones I showed you :-)

As usual, Moise did a fantastic job - both of designing & building my cabinet. His suggestion of a Douglas fir top was inspired. The cabinet is simple, yet elegant & complements the character of the house. It is perfectly designed for the purpose for which I needed it - a place to store foldable clothing, given that my 170 year old house has only a small closet in the master bedroom. Bravo Moise!

We have been provided with a lovely desk which solves our space restriction and blends seamlessly into the wall/window, keeping the room light and airy. We are very pleased with the result.

For all steps of the project (from initial measuring to refining the design and installation), Bensimon Design was a pleasure to work with. They installed quality millwork, paying attention to details, and ensuring they did not leave until everything was perfect. Every detail was considered and taken care of – from the finish, to the hinges, to the cushions. A great experience.

Moise built us a new fireplace mantel & feature wall, and we're very happy with the end result. Throughout the entire process, Moise was very helpful with his thoughts on our options, and his attention to detail. Moise pointed us in the direction of the Toronto Comfort Zone, who handled the installation of the new gas fireplace and demolition of existing wood-burning fireplace/structure.

Moise provided us with a very clear drawing & outline of what the mantel would look like, which was appreciated. He took the time for multiple visits and was always willing to discuss. He was very knowledgeable, and clearly understood the style, design and vision we wanted both for the mantel and the house at-large. He and Cara make a great team.

We wouldn't hesitate to recommend Moise, and hope to be able to work with him again in the future.

We needed a custom radiator cover to fit the rad located in our front entryway. It is a very tight space and we needed a skilled carpenter.

Bensimon Design

We had a difficult time finding someone to build a bench for us in our kitchen. Mose Came to the house and discussed the project and gave us suggestions and gave us a reasonable quote with an expectation of time frame. His office helped with everything from picking fabric to scheduling. They were responsive and accommodating. The bench looks great as are super happy with the end product and get compliments on if fro everyone who visits.

Absolutely love our radiator covers! Cara was amazing at keeping us up to date and informed. Moise did a amazing job - the radiator cover is absolutely beautiful and we couldn't be happy. We are planning to use them for more radiator covers in the future - we loved working with them!
