I came to Moise with a very custom job - creating bookshelves that would also function as doors. He brought a ton of skill and thought to the job, figuring out how to make them work as both shelves and doors, managing the swinging mechanism, and even finding a way for a hidden door lock which could be opened by pulling down on a book. He came by for multiple visits to fine-tune the work (at no cost) and was invested in making my project work well. My kids love them and they're arguably my favourite part of my house. I would not hesitate to work with him again, and I have recommended him to other friends who want to duplicate his work.

Bensimon created a masterful built in closet wardrobe in our master bedroom. Old house with very little storage space, we had a niche in wall that was underutilized and Moise designed and installed a system that was brilliant. thank you!

We ordered a number of radiator covers for our home and are very pleased with the workmanship. The product was perfect. I would highly recommend using Bensimon for any custom carpentry needs.

We hired Moise to redo our twin daughters bedroom with custom built beds, night table and bookcase. His work is impeccable and the finished work matched exactly to the drawing. Every step of the way, we were part of the process and always felt in good hands with Moise.

We worked with Bensimon Design from demo to completion of this mantel project. It was no small endeavour as there were two previos fireplaces built in the same location, one covering up the one behind it. Both mistakes. Moise had the vision to demo out the old and use the void space to build out a new mantle correctly and in keeping with the homes artitechural style. The gas fireplace unit and stone surround he coordinated on our behalf to keep things moving smoothly. the end result is exactly what we wanted.

Had Bensimon design and build decorative beams and add closets to our master bedroom. It was great to have a contractor contribute to a design and enhance what we had originally envisioned. John did the carpentry work and was great to work with, produced high quality, and when we had an issue with the drywall, he quickly and effectively resolved it. Would recommend this company to anyone. Our only reason for 9 out of 10 was that it was difficult for Bensimon to find available capacity for our job, so we waited a number of months. In this market however, we did appreciate that they stuck with it and didn't just refuse the work.
