Simon and his guys finished our basement, added recessed lighting on the first floor, did the cabinets for laundry area, master bathroom and walk-in closet, painting of walls etc. Throughout this whole experience, I was not stressed out as Simon & his guys designed, managed and took care of everything and kept the work area very clean. The guys came promptly everyday, worked hard 6 days a week to meet our deadline, and their work is top quality. They are very obliging and helpful whenever I had any questions or needed their help. Simon is extremely kind, helpful and reliable. He is my trustworthy resource if anything breaks down around the house! I am very happy with the work done and highly recommend Simon to anyone considering a home renovation!

We lived in a 60 year old house with a tiny kitchen and a main floor with many dividing walls that made it difficult even to put a proper size dining table. We wanted to have an open space concept mainfloor with a big kitchen connected to the living room. That means we have to take down many walls and gutting the whole floor. We interviewed many contractors. We connected with Simon Wong of S&G through word of mouth and decided to hire him for the following reasons:

Clear and detailed contract
After an onsite meeting with Simon and his designer/partner Alan, a clear, itemized contract was layout. All the work task and specs of all materials were listed very clearly. The pricing is honest and open.

Total Solution
Simon and Alan are very experienced in whole home renovation. From cabinetry to flooring, plumbing, electrical to gas line. They handle it all under one umbrella. There is no need to deal with different suppliers and tradesman. I only need to talk to Simon, my project manager and he takes care of all the logistic. Every step along the way, Simon would speak to me about different choices of finish or certain design preferences. In general, I only needed to know when to move out and when to move back in.

Quality and Pricing
While not the cheapest contractor in down, I found S&G has an excellent quality to pricing ration. We had custom cabinetry in the kitchen and bedroom. It's all custom designed to any style and layout I want. The spray paint finish, the railing, hinges are all high quality. Even the slide out garbage can included under sink was made in Italy. All workmanship is top notch, all the floor tiles grout lines were supper straight. There were not rough cut edges or awkward gaps anywhere, not even inside the drawers or in some tucked under corners. We received many compliments on our kitchen and bedroom cabinetry. The marble shower stall with curved ceiling was a piece of art.

Durability
It's been almost 5 years and everything is holding fine. That's why I am very glad to contribute a review and I'd recommend S&G.

We hired S & G Home Innovations to finish our basement in March. They did a wonderful job and made it very simple for my family. After meeting with Simon it was an easy decision. He is a professional and we just knew we could trust him. Simon was absolutely wonderful to work with. We first met him on initial free estimate of the basement and within a day or two he came back with a drawing and exact price of what our basement would be. Without hesitation we decided he was the best choice. Simon let us know ahead of time step by step about the process. In our 750 square foot basement we had a guest bedroom, bathroom, and living area/Playroom. At the end Simon made sure the finishing touches was exactly what we wanted. We have received many compliments as we proudly show off our new basement to family and friends. We are very happy with our decision of choosing Simon with S & G Home Innovations.

Our newly purchased home required some work. A good friend recommended that we contact S&G Home Innovations, and we're so glad that we did! Simon and his team were professional and prompt from beginning to end. I cannot express enough how amazing they were to work with. Their attention to detail and overall service was second to none. They maintained the same hours daily, ensuring the project was completed smoothly within the agreed upon time frame. Once complete, we were quite happy with the end result. Simon and his team even came by months after completion for quick touch up jobs - we will definitely use them again for future projects!

We love the 2 bathrooms done. Thanks to Simon for his advice about lighting. I would have regret if I didn't listen to him. The vanity and the cabinets are great, good material and excellent quality. After sales service is good. Simon is responsive and attended to our questions promptly.

With Simon’s contractor team, we got our basement renovation complete with entertainment area, full bathroom, office space and laundry.    Simon, our project manager, is helpful and provides professional advice in all aspects of the renovation rating from the material selection, lighting, electrical, etc. He oversees the whole project from time to time with his professional manner and takes care  of everything to ensure that the project be on time and on smooth process.   The team is willing to do their best to meet our needs and provide effective on–site problem solving as necessary.  They have really done an excellent job within our expectations and budget, and we are highly recommending their team to others.  Thanks.

Our townhouse was completely renovated by Simon and his team back in early 2016. They were very professional and provided us with detailed estimates, timelines and work to be done right from the start. My home has undergone a major renovation with S&G. I'm impressed and very satisfied with the quality and service they delivered. They are very patient to client ideas, at times I had quite some crazy ideas about the design and they were willing and open to listen to them and really did think thru on how to implement those fancy ideas for me. And throughout the work progress, the hands-on gentlemen were quite quality oriented for the long term and didn't take shortcuts. Price was also very reasonable consider the scope of work covered. The end result is a grand home and surprisingly awesome. Many of my friends think the work should costed much more than what it actually was.
