My backyard is very small but needed a lot of work including a new deck, retaining wall, stairs and interlock stone as well as improvements in the drainage. Much of the work was manual as it was difficult to get the machinery into such a tight area. Vlad and his team were very patient, made appropriate modifications when indicated and always wanted to make sure I was satisfied with the work. Overall, I am very pleased with the end result, particularly the new stone retaining wall (replaced the wood one). There were no hidden or additional costs despite the modifications. This is a relatively young company but I think the guys did a fantastic job.

GTA Landscaping were doing our neighbor's deck and we were really impressed with the quality of their work. They came over to give us a quote for a new deck as we were thinking for the longest time to get a new deck and patio with stairs going downstairs to our backyard. We emailed GTA Landscaping in May 2013 for a quote. Unbeknownst to us (because they had too much work?), GTA forwarded our request to StrongBase Interlock & Construction, and we're thrilled they did. Within 48 hours, Biwar Yakoo of StrongBase had contacted us, visited our home to discuss our ideas, made some suggested changes, and returned 2 days later with a reasonable quote. While it's always a good idea to get multiple quotes, we didn't because we felt comfortable working with him right from the first meeting. Biwar and his crew did a spectacular job on our property - attention to detail, great suggestions (Biwar pushed back on a couple of our ideas because he wanted to achieve perfection! He won 1 argument, lost the other :-), and started and finished the job when he said he would. Since then, we've received dozens of compliments from the neighbours about our property. We're very pleased with the work done, and absolutely would recommend StrongBase to family and friends.

I called Vlad on a Thursday. He returned my call the next day and gave me an estimate on the same day. Price was the cheapest among two other quotes. Workers started on the following Monday and finished the same day. I am very glad with his work. This number will be on my contact list for a long time. I am planning to use him for some other projects.

I hired them to re-sod my backyard. I had a party in 2 weeks and had just finished my deck. My backyard was full of weeds. They came very quickly and finished job in time so i actually green grass in the backyard for my daughter's birthday party. They actually would have finished faster except I decided i wanted to add weeping tile to help with the drainage in the backyard so it's not always wet becuase of the grading. They also did regrade the backyard so it's not quite so loped. The workers that came over were very professional and some sort of uniform or rather a logo apparel. Anyway, it made them look cleaner and professional.

All and all, i would recommend them.

Vlad did an awesome job. He ripped old, wavy concrete paths around my property and installed beautiful patio stones. His guys worked quickly and efficiently and came back to correct any minor defects I wasn't happy with.

We put in a new shed last year and wanted it to look a little more integrated into the yard. They took out all of the old grass and replaced with new sod, trimmed overgrown bushes, cleaned up the flower beds, added mulch, and put down a lovely stone pad in front of the shed. The guys worked very hard and completed it in just one day.
