Damian was an absolute pleasure to work with from start to finish.

We bought an older house that needed a lot of work before we could move in. We had a limited budget to work with and wanted the work done right. The scope of work included: interior demolition, taking down a wall, asbestos removal, HVAC modifications, installing lighting, re-plumbing the kitchen and bathroom, re-wiring the kitchen, refinishing the floors and installing drywall and insulation.

We found Damian on HomeStars. He responded very quickly to our inquiry and scheduled a site visit within a few days. He came to our house, took pictures, asked questions, and had great suggestions for how we could proceed. He produced a very fair quote quickly and was able to start work on the project almost right away.

We could tell Damian was different from other contractors because of how regularly and clearly he communicates. There were never any surprises with Damian. We spoke with him almost daily. He regularly provided updates on progress by phone and text - calling to check in with us whenever a decision needed to be made. He provided solid advice whenever we were uncertain, but always respected our wishes and budget constraints. His knowledge, organization, and attention to detail are all top notch.

Damian's quality of work also speaks for itself. Throughout the process, he told us he would treat the house as his own and it showed. Down to the smallest details of where to route ducting, the size of the shower niche, where to place light-switches, or making ancient floor and walls plumb and square, Damian's workmanship is unparalleled. He notices the little things that you might not think of but which make a well crafted home just right. Our upstairs floors had quite a bit of damage and he and his team were truly miracle workers in bringing them back to life. A duct that needed to be routed through our living room blends in seamlessly. Our very old house has been made straight and true thanks to Damian's hard work. In short, we couldn't be happier with the result. All of Damian's trades were professional, hard working, friendly, and a pleasure to work with. They are all masters of their crafts.

Damian completed work on time and on budget. He and his crew worked nights and weekends to get our house turned over to us as soon as possible. His prices were very reasonable. He also knew that our budget was firm and worked within those parameters to deliver top quality work that we could afford.

We need many fixes throughout the house which Damian and the team were creative and efficient in solving. We were very happy with the quality of work and as a result are about to work on larger projects in the near future.

We hired Lindsay Contracting to renovate our two kids' bedrooms - this included smoothing out the popcorn ceiling, adding pot lights, rebuild of a new fitted closet, all trim, decoration and final painting.

This was my first time working with Lindsay Contracting and I can say its probably not the last.

I had contacted Damian for an estimate, along with others, for renovating my powder room. I received quotes that were nearly half of what Lindsay quoted, but decided to go with them regardless. Am I glad I did.

The work they delivered was above my expectations, with the team paying attention to detail and really treating their work as a craft and an art. Martin was exceptional. You could tell he truly cared for the work he was doing. From making sure the walls looked brand new, to cutting the baseboards and trim cleanly.

We had some unexpected things come up, and every time Damian was on the phone with me to sort it out. And every time we came out with a solution to the problem and next steps to address it.

The project took a little bit longer to complete than hoped, but it was done well, correctly and on budget. I truly appreciated the clear communication, and the peace of mind that Damian and his team brought.

Our family was long overdue to have our Bathroom Renovation and we are absolutely happy with the work that Damian and his crew had done for us. We noticed that there was water leaking in the basement and a friend of ours had highly recommended Lindsay Contracting to us and we have no regrets. Damian came to check out what could be the cause of the water coming into the basement and swiftly he realized that the leak was coming from the water meter. In great detail he explained what would need to be done and coordinated with the city as the water needed to be shut off for the repair to commence. Damian and his team at Lindsay Contracting Inc. are an absolute pleasure to work with. They have completed other projects in my home and most recently they replaced an old hood fan in the kitchen and put up a tile backsplash and once again they didn't let us down. Despite his busy schedule, Damain and his team were able to fit us in and it being a small project it was still taken seriously and the level of work wasn't compromised. Damians level of professionalism and communication always leaves me informed and reassured. Damien's plumber did an excellent job of replacing our outdoor faucet, which had been leaking slowly on our window frame. The job was quick and tidy. What's more, the plumber was thorough. He looked inside to make sure that there was no damage, and that the outdoor shut-off and other pipes weren't affected.

Because Damien has successfully completed three large jobs for us, we always turn to him when our home needs maintenance. His guidance is invaluable.
