Very rude and terrible customer service. Refused to fix my phone after the screen they installed was defective. The screen stopped the a key from working and there was an audible click when the screen was pressed, meaning it wasn't installed properly. The screen cracked, because it was fitted properly. All this occurred in 4 days and when I came back, they refused to fix it, stating the cracked screen was my fault, even though they admit the screen wasn't installed correctly. They were rude and condescending towards me. I will never return. Take your money elsewhere.
I've used the iPod repair center over the years and have had good service. I recently had my iPad glass replaced by them. They had replaced it once before however it was once again dropped. I received my ipad back and it was repaired however about 2 weeks later the glass cracked. I am not aware that it was anything that I had done. My thought is the glass may have had a minor chip when it was installed and it then proceeded to crack. Ipod repair center offers a 6 month warranty and so I took it back only to learn that they they will not warranty the glass because they claim I caused the crack. Needless to say I was not happy. I feel I paid $130 to exchange my cracked glass for some other cracked glass. Unfortunately I can't continue to do business with this sort of service so I am saying good-bye to the ipod repair center. Buyer beware. If you're counting on their warranty to mean something you may consider doing business with someone else. I am.
People send their iPods in from all over the world for these guys to fix them, and they are right here in Edmonton. When my daughter's iPhone broke, I looked around for a place to fix it. This store was ethical enough to tell me that some employees were out ill and that it would be a wait before they would get to my job. So I went to two different places thinking that I could get it done quicker. After having my time wasted by people who DIDN'T give me a heads up that they couldn't get the job done - excuse after excuse - no parts, nobody here does the work - yadda yadda yadda - enough time had passed that I figured the folks at this store must surely be well again. Took the phone over there and dropped it off, and had a nice conversation with the very friendly folks there. It was ready the next day. They did a remarkable job fixing the iPhone, even though the Apple guys told us it was beyond hope, shuddering and uttering the deadly words, "water damage."
We have a little hidden treasure here in Edmonton, the world's best iPod Repair place. Gotta love these guys, and their most common words, "Sure. We can fix it."
