Regal Lighting Designs

We selected Regal from a list of contractors that we saw in HomeStars and our local paper. Tom, was quick to respond and provided us a plan within the day. He completed the project within a couple of weeks and we are very satisfied. He provided great ideas, delivered on time and on the price that he quoted....no extras! We were very happy that we chose Regal/Tom.

Tom is truly a professional when it comes to exterior lighting design and installation. This is the second home I’ve had Tom complete a soffit lighting design for and the end result is incredible. Not only does the placement of the lights add to the curb appeal of the home; it also has the added benefit of increased safety and security by illuminating all sides of the house.

Tom’s designs don’t simply have lights added everywhere at set distances - he takes great care to consider the right type of light in terms of brightness and pattern and what exactly should be accented. I’m very particular when it comes to lighting and I was happy to find that Tom is too. I firmly believe his passion for this form of design is unrivalled.

Tom was also very accommodating to my requests - he added dimmers to two different areas of light so those areas can be customized depending on our needs. He also suggested an uplight for our Japanese Maple and downlights for our front garden bed. Both were implemented and create an added element of depth to our property.

For anyone wanting their home to really stand out at night, I highly recommend Tom and his company Regal Lighting Designs for your home and landscape lighting needs.

Tom was very detailed in facilitating us to make an informed choice on type of lighting to use. The result was excellent and everyone compliments on our lighting. He recently had to do a service call and he did a great job. I would highly recommend Tom.

We used Tom, of Regal Lighting , mainly because of his extensive knowledge and experience in yard lighting. He provided an accurate estimate (in writing) and installed an excellent lighting display, (as per his estimate). A few month later, one of our lights went out. He came out, promptly and discovered that some ants had covered the lens. He rectified the problem, replaced one of defective timers as well, at no cost to us. Great service ! We highly recommend Tom, for his professional skills and after the sale service.

The lights on our house look terrific. Toms work is top notch and he provided excellent recommendations on lighting colour and location.

Tom listened to our wants and helped us to find the perfect solution to our needs. This actually involved steering us toward more efficient, less expensive solutions, He and his team do the installation personally. They are polite and pleasant to deal with, cleaned up after themselves and did exactly what they said they were going to do. It was refreshing to have a contractor actually show up on time and communicate effectively before and during the process. We are very happy with the results!

This is the second time we are using Tom from Regal Lighting. He did such a great job at our home in Mississauga, so when moved, we immediately called Regal Lighting again. The lights have transformed our property and I cannot believe how great our home looks now!!! Tom is very honest, reliable and reasonably priced. He communicates with the customer and is an absolute pleasure to deal with. He’s a 5 out 5. Definitely would recommend!
