Stay away from this company. I was charged over a month ago, product has not shipped, no tracking number exists and company does not issue refund or return phone calls. Complete fraud. Visa is very helpful, call your credit card company and they will issue refund as the company is not respected and has been complained against many times.
HomeSav has a tendency to beautify their furniture by using stock photos that sometimes don't correspond to the items themselves. Their policy is that you cannot return any items, as most of them are final sale, but they also work with cheap, Chinese made hacked together vendors that cannot guarantee the quality of their products.
Unless you want to wait two months for your furniture to arrive, just to have to send it back, don't buy.
This site is pretty bad. I've ordered from them once; my order came late, which was OK, but it wasn't the quality I expected. Had I known the item I ordered was all plastic rather than brushed metal I would not have ordered (not included in the description and it looked like metal). The item descriptions are almost always inadequate and often I suspect that they are incorrect (e.g. the dimensions of a table seem illogical). I often find that the "sale price" is exactly the same as the "retail price". It doesn't give me great confidence that they can't even get their pricing correct. Most importantly, their sale prices are terrible. I can get better deals at Home Sense on better quality items. Were the items designer decor pieces that I could attach some higher retail price tag to, I might still think their high prices were a deal, but most of the items on this site are manufactured for Homesav, so there really isn't a comparable retail price. They confirmed to me that a few major lines (some sofas and some patio furniture) are manufactured for Homesav and not available elsewhere. You'll notice that there are rarely manufacturer/designer names on the furniture and decor pieces. Beware! This is not the sale site you expect it to be, do your research before purchasing, especially on large/expensive items.

this is the absolute worst online Company. Placed order in Nov. 2012 they charged my account and never shipped the order. They have the WORST customer service. Still trying to get my refund. One out of 10 emails have been answered by them with another promise of refunding me. I am reporting them to the BBB and consumer affairs.
I bought a sofa off Homesav... It stated after I placed the order that it would take 4-7 weeks to arrive (which is already ridiculously long), but it actually look a little over 8 weeks.
Near the end of the estimated delivery date I was worried that something was wrong. I had not received any update from Homesav as to the status of my orders, so I decided to e-mail their customer services. I received no reply after sending multiple e-mails. I went on their Facebook page to complain, and there I saw numerous other complaints from customers about the lack of customer service and delayed orders.
After I posted, I received a message on Facebook from an employee. They gave me an e-mail of an employee that I could contact at Homesav about my concerns. Sure enough, I did finally receive a reply from the other e-mail they gave me (don't bother with their email@example.com e-mail... they never reply). However, I noticed that they had taken down all the complaints people were posting on their Facebook page (including mine). They only leave the positive messages people leave, and delete all the negative ones. Believe me, there were TONS of complaints on their Facebook page.
The employee from Homesav contacted the supplier of my sofa to see what was going on. As it turns out the supplier took forever to get my sofa ready and delivered (fyi the company that made the sofa is called Ivey Tate... so if you order from them, expect to wait a very long time to get your product).
I FINALLY got my sofa after waiting over 2 months. The sofa itself is actually quite nice, except for one problem... it's the wrong colour. I ordered a blue couch, and the one I got is purple. As it turns out it still looks nice in my living room, but that is a huge screw-up. I would contact Homesav to complain... but god knows how long they will take to respond (I'm tired of contacting these people), let alone the amount of time the awful supplier would take to replace the couch.
Overall, I would not buy anything from this website again. If you order something small, like a picture, that is under $100, then it might be worth the risk if you really like the product and can't find anything similar elsewhere. It is hit or miss whether or not you will be satisfied with Homesav. Some people have posted good experiences, and I'm sure they are telling the truth. But when things go bad with an order on Homesav... it REALLY goes bad. To me, it's not worth the risk.
Frankly, this is by far the worst customer service I have experienced . . . ever. 5 months of delays, 20+ emails, non-responsiveness, misrepresentations and outright fabrications in my opinion . . . finally got a full refund but never, ever again . . . deal with at your own peril. This is the first time I have felt the need to write a review.
I accidentally ordered 2 items when I only wanted one. From the minute i placed the orders I have been sending emails and calling the company and i have not received ONE phone call or email back. And today, I just received the 2 products. I would NEVER buy anything from a company that doesn't have the decency to respond to a client request. So so so disappointed.
I have been waiting since December 13th, 2012 for a coffee table and coat hook rack to complete my home decor. They promised delivery of 3-5 weeks. Its been 10. Not the first time either. No one ever contacts you to say "sorry for the delay"...I would like to know how I can get my money back at this point.
