Mabe Canada

Purchased a stackable washer/dryer, the main control board was replaced TWICE in the fist 10 months! The appliance is being used by a single person so it does not get overheated or overloaded. By the 3rd time, the technician told us there is no point in fixing it. Mabe agreed to replace it but it took over a month of constant calls, emails, even speaking with Manager. Still no unit and all I'm told is that the delivery truck has had it out for delivery since last week! One thing is for sure: I WILL NEVER BUY A GE UNIT EVER!! Check the reviews online before purchasing - which I didn't do - they are all horrible experiences.

Bought a new S/S GE fridge at Home Depot a few years ago. Surprised to find out that Mabe, a company originating in Mexico, has a lot to do with the manufacture and distribution of GE appliances to many companies, and Home Depot in Canada is one of them. While Home Depot was really great about what turned out to be a nightmare obtaining and installing the product, Mabe was less than efficient to deal with due to the many departments involved when you have to backorder a product due to lack of availability. The only reason I'm satisfied with the product is really because of Home Depot, not Mabe.
