I recently hired Greenland to move my things from Toronto to Montreal, with pick-up on Friday and delivery on Saturday. I chose Greenland because despite the negative reviews, they were willing to accommodate my small load (<1000 lb) with no extra fee.
The pick-up went well. They called the day before and said they would arrive between 7-9 pm. They came at 8 pm, and the everything went smoothly.
I got a call later that night saying they would deliver my things between 11 am and 3 pm the next day. They didn't arrive until nearly 6 pm. (After we drove all night to Montreal.) Apparently they couldn't weight my things, so we agreed on an estimated weight. Then, when they were about to unload my things, they said they would have to charge an extra fee for stairs. However, I was told in a previous email that there wouldn't be an extra fee. When we finally came to an agreement, they unloaded everything fairly quickly. Some boxes were a bit squished, but nothing was damaged.
All in all, the service was decent. They're definitely the cheapest option, but I didn't have any major problems. Just make sure you discuss EVERY detail over the phone when they give you an estimate. Tell them if there are stairs and if it's a house or apartment, etc etc. Give them as many details about your items as possible. If you're vague, they may add extra fees upon delivery they you didn't know about.
