This was the second year I have used their service. The work they do on the actual cedars is very good, clean up was decent and their quoted price reasonable. The staff are friendly.

On their most recent work in Sept 2022 they "accidentally" cut down a steel wire that I had placed through the cedars. This 200lbs wire was used to string up patio lights. They had no issue trimming around the wire last year. When they came back this year they indicated that they can "work around it" just like they did in 2021.

The cost to replace the steel wire is minimal, however the labour involved in re-stringing the steel cable and re-attaching the patio lights is in the range of 2-3 hours.

Did I mention there was apology from anyone at Monkey Tree?

I had a few tall trees that required trimming because it was encrouching on my roof. Monkey Tree came and did an excellent job removing the problem. Overall extremely skilled and knew what they were doing. They were amazing at climbing the tall trees and exceeded my expectations. The crew was very polite and clean up after themselves which is much appreciated. I would highly recommend them to everyone that needs work done.

An amazing experience over the last two years. Would highly recommend them, Joel and his team came in pruned, removed dead shrubs, and double checked my landscape. We hired Monkey Tree Services to trim a number of trees in both yards and I couldn’t be happier with Joel and his crew. The quote was very detailed and not only fair, but slightly less than a couple of other major tree cutters in the area. Everyone was friendly and professional from beginning to end. And they did a great job, exactly as discussed. In fact, I asked them to trim a few extra branches here and there and they were more than willing to take care of it – no hesitation or angling for extra money. Joel and the team were fantastic In removing a large liquid amber from our back yard. They removed the tree along with stump grinding. Quote cost not provided as each job is different. However, their quote was far better than their competitors. Highly recommend!
