Second time using Monkey Tree Services, even happier than last time. Their team is knowledgeable and completes the work as requested on time, on budget.

I had a very good experience with Monkey Tree from Joel who did the estimate to Ben and his crew who did the work. Ben was very friendly, listened well and was a problem solver with my neighbour. They did a terrific job with all our trees and cleaned up everything. Oh did I mention that they arrived right on time and that Ben has his degree in Forestry from UBC. I would definitely hire them again.

The guys are pros and they cleaned up immaculately before they left. I'm glad I called them.

This is our third time using Monkey Tree Services. We have a yard with tall and low hedges and several trees. We can trust them to do the entire job without us present. They are great communicators from the quote to arrival times and letting you know precisely when they will be there. They texted pictures when there were options to be considered and left the yard as neat as a pin, including removing leaves that were there before they arrived. Highly recommended!

My church, Pilgrim Church, recently hired Monkey Tree Services to trim some of the trees on our property, and we couldn't be happier with the experience. We had 3 40 year old cedar trees thinned which allowed an amazing amount more light into our back yard. They asked every step of the way how we wanted it to go and clean up went well. We spent 6 hours with a very talented charming crew looking after us. We have used them at least 6 times over the years for major pruning and some removal in the past.

In recent years Monkey Tree Services Ltd. has worked on my Vancouver property three times. On each occasion the crew arrived when scheduled; the work was done efficiently; and the clean-up was thorough.
My property includes two rows of trees - beeches and hornbeams - planted perpendicular to one another against intersecting property lines. These trees I like pruned to form 'hedges on sticks'. The Monkey Tree crew did this work with great enthusiasm, pruning so that all was plumb and level ( and not severing adjacent Hydro cables which has been done by other tree pruners in earlier times ).
I also have in my garden a 100 year old and very tall cypress tree. This required significant work to tidy it up. Again, this work was done with great precision.
In conclusion I cannot recommend Monkey Tree Services highly enough.

Seth and his team at Monkey Tree are very reasonable, efficient and extremely knowledgeable. We have been using their services for over 10 years. Highly recommend.

Three years ago, our backyard had a large (~5' diameter) Western Red Cedar that was clearly dying. I contacted 6 arborists to attend and give me advice on how to save the tree. The first 5 were of no help. I was about to give up and let the tree die. When Seth came, he quickly (within minutes) correctly diagnosed the problem and directed me on how to fix the problem. Seth then followed up in subsequent visits and assisted me in bringing in another firm to remediate the issue.
Now, three years later, the tree is clearly healthier with significant new growth each season.
My deepest thanks goes to Seth for his expertise and assistance in saving our Red Cedar.
