HVAC

Ultracomfort is the worst company imaginable. They are extremely rude, they don't follow up on any questions or concerns, they don't show up on time, they subcontract to the rudest lousiest company imaginable, they put the blame on you for any problems, and they leave a mess after they do their work.

New Furnace and AC

We have never seen such utter disrespect and carelessness towards a companies customers in my life. Every single interaction that we have had with Ultra Comfort including receptionist, service technician, sales representative, service manager, and "supposed" owner has been unbelievable. We have been yelled at, insulted, been questioned about our honesty when experienced problems with installation, and threatened by several of their employees. Please be weary of Andre in Sales and Kevin the manager they have by far been the worst. Once they have your money you don't exist and they prey on people who come in looking for deals and provide zero customer service and resort to anger and abuse to deal with their frustrated customers. They are really nice and friendly until you pay then they don't just disappear they abuse you when you have problems. We have as well reported them to the better business bureau (BBB), which is interesting because they promote their good standing with the BBB. NEVER LET ANYONE YOU CARE ABOUT (OR EVEN YOUR WORST ENEMY) BUY ANYTHING FROM ULTRA COMFORT

new furnace, a/c and duct work

My experience with Ultra Comfort Cambridge was so awful that I couldn't fit all of the issues I had with them here. Please don't use this company and spend your money with them. The salesman Andre was disrespectful and rude and the manager Kevin was even worse. They upcharged me after I gave them my credit card deposit and everything went downhill from there. Their prices are good but I would have rather spent a thousand dollars more than have the nightmare I had with them. I reported them to the better business bureau and am seeking legal advice now. Don't use them, please take this warning!

Furnace & A/C Purchase & Install

Install went smoothly. However one month later when we went to clean the reusable filter, we discovered that they disconnected and cut existing electronic filter system and removed all innards of filter. Left us with no filter at all for new furnace and a/c. Manager, Kevin is not prepared to correct problem. Have taken to the BBB.

Garage Heater Installation

My experience with Ultra Comfort started great and quickly escalated into one of the worst customer service experiences I've encountered.
I called Ultra Comfort and received a quote of $1,750 + HST to have a gas heater installed in my garage. I agreed and paid the initial deposit of $500, and we mutually agreed upon a start date of Monday.
Monday morning came and the installers arrived at 8am. They were friendly and professional, and went straight to work.
The installers were at my home for majority of the day, leaving at approximately 4pm. I had left for work at 1pm, feeling very comfortable leaving them there.
I returned home in the evening and was very satisfied with the installation of the heater. It was placed on the ceiling and out of the way, to maximize the storage in our garage.
The following morning I received a phone call from Ultra Comfort and was advised that the installation of the heater took longer than anticipated and they wanted to charge me an additional amount of $350 + HST. I was shocked. The cost was already agreed upon and the job was now complete. I politely stated that I was not going to pay any additional cost, as I should have been advised prior to the job being started that the cost could increase. This would have allowed me the opportunity to decide whether I wanted to have the heater installed in the first place. Ultra Comfort was obviously not happy with my refusal to pay the additional amount and argued over the phone. This went back and forth for a few minutes with Ultra Comfort finally relenting, understanding that I was not backing down. At this point, the issue was more about principle than money.
Shortly thereafter, I received a voicemail (which is saved, by the way) from Ultra Comfort stating that I would only be charged with the original agreed upon amount, HOWEVER, the boss wanted to let me know that they would not be honoring the warranty on the heater and they would not service it in the future if needed.
I just shook my head when I listened to this message. I'm truly shocked at the lack of professionalism and customer service Ultra Comfort provided me. The experience started great and due to Ultra Comfort's error and misquoting a job, they take it out on the customer. Shocking for a company that has been in business for so long. Luckily for most customers, it looks as though this situation is not their norm...if it was, they certainly wouldn't still be in business.

New furnace

After calling 3 other contractors I got the best for my money from ultra control. Andre, the sales guy, was easy going and not pushy. He provided me with my options and his best pricing. The installers came in the very next day. They we professional, quick and tidy. I would not hesitate to contact them if I ever need an ac system.

I will never hesitate to recommend Ultra Comfort Heating and Air Conditioning to anybody who wants a professional job done on time and within budget. They provided me with incredible service within hours of a service call. The service is fantastic, the employees well mannered and courteous, and ready to help with any problem.

Air conditioning repair

This morning we made a call to your company regarding service for our furnace, as it wouldn’t start for us. It was getting cold and we have a baby that we were concerned about.
One hour later we had a service technician at our door. We were very nervous as this is our first home and our first major concern with the home. We were so worried of expense, as we feared the worst. Your technician looked over the problem and relit the pilot light, checked over the furnace and provided us with a clean filter.
I would like to express our absolute satisfaction with your company and especially with Shawn. He was a total professional in every way.

Moe sold us our new Napoleon Fireplace. He was very nice, courteous and very knowledgeable. My first intention was to get several estimates, but after meeting Moe I felt no need to go further than Ultra Comfort. People appreciate an honest company these days, keep up the good work!
