I’ve known Taras for a long time. Being in real estate, I had helped him buy and sell properties in the past which allowed me to see first-hand, the level of craftsmanship and attention to detail that goes into his projects. When it came time to renovate our own home, we called on Double T Contracting with confidence. The entire team was amazing! They were professional and knowledgeable and they worked diligently to deliver an incredible result in the timeframe that was promised. We are beyond thrilled and would highly recommend them! Taras and his team were amazing. This was done during COVID-19 pandemic and they were accommodating and safe and reliable. The final product is incredible and we are very happy with everything. We will absolutely hire him again for our next job and would recommend his team to anyone and everyone.

This was our third project with Taras, and every experience is just as good as the last. This time we did a full backyard renovation including a 13ft garage with loft space, new deck, porch roof, expanded basement entrance, and outdoor cabinetry for storage.

Taras and his team were an absolute pleasure to see every day, and there were never any issues, even with countless changes on the fly (by me). The level of craftsmanship that Ivan and Dane brought to our backyard and garage project are unlike anything I’ve seen on an outdoor space before. They have such high standards and pride in what they build that even the most detail oriented person would be truly impressed. (I saw them shimming out cladding on our deck steps… finished carpentry on a deck!)

It’s a joy to collaborate with Taras and his team, and they make renovation projects a breeze for any homeowner. I can say this with confidence as they have done projects for 4 of our friends, as well as my mother, and everyone has the same experience.

We first hired DoubleT Contracting to renovate our basement which needed new windows, floors, lighting and an updated laundry room. Besides doing a great job, Taras and his crew finished on time and within budget. As seniors, knowing that you have an honest contractor and workers in your home relieves a lot of the anxiety associated with the renovation process.

So it was an easy decision to hire Double T Contracting again to renovate our main floor bathroom.
Taras worked closely with me to complete a beautiful spa like bathroom with heated floors, a walk-in shower and many other fine details.

Last summer, Double T Contracting designed and built our new cedar deck. Taras was able to accommodate my request for glass panels using very affordable glass railings.
We now have a beautiful outdoor space where we can enjoy the summers.

I purchased my second home with confidence because after working with Taras and the team at Double T Contracting Inc. I knew the work that needed to be done was going to be done well! This is the second time I've worked with Taras on a reno project and after my positive first experience, this project was much larger in scope and included a kitchen and bathroom renovation, new flooring and more.
Working with Taras is very easy - he is very transparent and responsive - clearly identifying his scope, what will be included in his estimates, timelines and what I would need to supply. If I had a question or was looking for a recommendation from Taras, he was always very informative and happy to provide some guidance based on his experience. As a young homeowner, it was crucial to have someone I could trust.
He helped make our kitchen and bathroom reno easy by providing detailed designs and a shopping list. He and his team never took shortcuts and always delivered quality workmanship. Our new floors and staircase look absolutely beautiful because they strategically planned where to place panels based on length and detail. We now also have a kitchen I've always dreamed of! They transformed our dated kitchen and overbearing pantry to a modern and airy space for cooking and entertaining.
The bathroom was originally a hole in the wall - an old long tiled, dark room with a shabby toilet and pedestal sink. Now I can comfortably bathe my toddler in a beautiful and clean space.
The team also stuck to their timelines and while we moved out during the project, neighbors constantly told us that the team was working from 8am until 5 or 6. We didn't have to babysit them at all. I would highly recommend Taras and his team and look forward to working with him again when we're ready to renovate our basement.

Taras and his team completed a full renovation of my home. They have been a joy to deal with right from the planning through all of the construction. The project was a complete gut down to brick walls, involving reframing the interior, hvac, insulation, electrical and plumbing. Then putting it all back together. Taras went out of his way to ensure that the product he is delivering to us met every one of our expectations. I feel lucky to have worked with such an honest team, and the caliber of work is second to none. I wouldn’t hesitate to work with them again in the future when the next project comes up.

I was in a very unfortunate situation when I was taken on by Taras and Double T. I had one of those nightmare experience you hear of with another unqualified, criminal contractor. Taras and his guys really saved me and my home. They corrected extensive improperly done and dangerous work and then went beyond to help me have the home I had envisioned. I could not recommend Double T more highly, they do professional, tidy work and pay attention to detail. They are friendly, reliable and extremely trustworthy. I would, without a doubt, hire them again in the future.

3. Construction of back deck including grading work, patio stones and installation of large french doors.

Taras and the Double T crew are a true godsend! When we purchased an older home that hadn’t been renovated in 60 years, we were wary of the headaches that came along with it. We met with several contractors before making a decision but Taras stood out from the get-go as extremely knowledgeable, personable and trustworthy – right away we knew we’d be in good hands with him and he proved us right again and again. As complete newbies to the renovating process, we needed full support and Taras guided us throughout – from drawings to permits to the actual renovation. Any time we hit a hurdle, he knew someone who could step in and help move things along.

And once the work begins, Double T never stops! Throughout the renovation, the crew kept working and problem-solving to move the project forward. Taras kept us informed with texts, calls and pictures the entire time – we never wondered where things were at because we were always in the loop, and we could always reach Taras very quickly as he always makes himself available.

The result speaks for itself -- everyone on the Double T team pays very close attention to detail and delivers impeccable work. Our house is beautiful and you can tell it was done by professionals and finished to a very high standard.

Finding a contractor, especially for a project as big as ours, is challenging. But Double T was everything you’d hope for and more – we are the only people who can say that our project came in on time and on budget with absolutely perfect quality. At no time were we stressed or worried and we’d recommend the team to anyone. Double T managed to make a potentially high stress situation a walk in the park and we could not be more thankful.
