High Tech Appliance Service

I contacted Atiar by email last night after our dryer broke and I read reviews on this site to find a repair technician. He answered my email at 6:30 this morning, and answered the phone when I called an hour later at 7:30. He said he could come between 11am and 1pm, and he was here on the dot at 11am. He quickly diagnosed the problem and replaced the heating element in our dryer, and also diagnosed a failing igniter in our gas stove and replaced that, too. I was impressed with his punctuality and professionalism, and I would call him again for other appliance repairs.

I called High Tech and within one hour a technician came to my condo, identified the problem, and fixed my washing machine. I would have paid almost double had I gone through Whirlpool. The service was honest, speedy and pleasant. I will definitely be calling them again in the future!

Helped me install my new gas dryer and washer in my basement. Disassembled my old dryer and helped me take it to the curb. Unfortunately, we ran out of time and he couldn't help me with my old washer. Will have to tackle that tomorrow.

Fast, had the part in stock, texted a head of time, friendly. Did exactly what he said he would.

They were much better than Transglobal, who refused to come back out to replace my part after they "closed the work order" due to it taking so long for the part to arrive.

It was a pleasure to find a company that was willing to help me out and actually agree to come out and provide the service. 2 other companies did not take an interest. We had an issue getting our new fridge into the basement and needed to get the doors removed to have the appliance put downstairs and then have them re-attached. Atiar was helpful in getting this task completed and also helped us out by installing the water line for the ice maker. Thank you so much.

When we called High-tech, Atiar answered with a friendly voice and was happy to schedule an evening appointment for us. Our family of four have hectic days and he was great at arranging his service call around our appointments.

When he came to our place and confirmed our washing machine pump needed replacing, he offered a no charge replacement loaner pump while our special part (LG) was ordered from the manufacturer.

He arranged to return at a convenient time and had the issue resolved within an hour.

Atiar was polite, conscientious, and very professional.

I spent the whole day calling different service providers but I either got their answering machine or if they answered, they said they don't service the Downtown Toronto Area. At my final attempt for the day, I called High Tech Appliance Service at 7 pm. Atiar picked up instantaneously, trouble-shot the problem over the phone and knew exactly what was causing the issue. He also gave me the exact price of the repair and told me he was available right away and that he will be at my place at 8:30 pm. He was there on time, very courteous, and repaired the washing machine in no time! The best part was that I didn't have to take a few hours off work to wait at home for an electrician who only works during business hours.
I would definitely recommend his service!

I called Atiar on a Saturday morning, and he came to my house within 2 hours of speaking to him. On the phone, he eased my mind by telling me it would be a fairly easy fix (that I wouldn't have to buy a new one). He arrived on time, was professional, had the part in his van, and had my washer fixed in less than an hour. I would definitely call him again, and refer him to my friends and family. Thank you!

My front loading Whirlpool washer would light up but not start - just flash. Atiar answered my call personally and came over the same day at the time arranged. He quickly diagnosed the problem as a door latch issue and showed how it would start if you leaned against the door - totally made sense with what had been happening. He ordered the part and came by the next day to install it. I also asked him to check my Whirlpool dishwasher which has not been cleaning the top shelf. He checked and found that the water is not being pumped to the top spinner and said that since the part was $250, and the machine was 6+ years old, it was probably not worth it to repair, but he would if we wanted. We will hold off for now and have him install our new machine when we purchase it. Fast, courteous, professional service. I will call High Tech for any future appliance problems. Highly recommended

I called Atiar based on his great reviews on HomeStars.. He is not the cheapest, but the most skilled people usually are not.. In Mid August, I asked Atiar to remove my old over-the-hood microwave and install my new one.. The work took longer than his estimate, and he had to improvise some things on the spot (some patchwork steel tape, and different mount holes).. In the end the install was done and looked OK.. Atiar was clear to my wife on what + why he was doing certain things..

After 2 months of using the microwave, we used the high power hood fan for the first time (has been on low fan since the install).. We noticed a lot of air leakage between the top of the hood and bottom of the cabinet.. We called Atiar not expecting him to come back to rectify this, HE DID !!

After a diagnosis, Atiar decided with his injured hand, he could not rectify our issue (involving lifting the microwave), AND OFFERED A REFUND FULLY !! Remember, this is 2 months after his work was done !!

I wish Atiar could rectify the issue, as he has now earned my trust for further work.. We received our payment FULLY refunded, and now have to look for another repair person BESIDES Atiar..

I recommend ANYONE trust their appliance repair to this genuinely honest and skilled person.. He deserves every dollar of his success and payment.. HIRE ATIAR for your repair needs, he will restore your faith in GOOD CONTRACTORS !!
