Watermart

My family has been going to WaterMart since the early 90s. Dave and his staff have always been very helpful. My wife and I recently bought a house and needed to get a Reverse Osmosis system installed.

I spoke with Dave, got a quote and had the installation booked within a week. When I got the initial quote from Dave, he didn't send any paperwork for the quote. When I called to finalize the purchase, the price was slightly off of what Dave had verbally quoted me. Dave was gracious enough to honour his original quote even though there was no paperwork to accompany it.

On the install date, the installation-technician showed up promptly and was extremely courteous and tidy. He completed the installation in about an hour and showed me how to maintain the system properly.

My experience with Watermart has always been excellent and I don't expect that to change anytime soon. Visit them for your water needs!

I picked up the phone and called Dave to get some advice after finding them here on home stars. This guy really knows his stuff, asked the right questions, and recommended the right system for us. Not pushy at all, he just made sure that I understood all my options. Scott showed up a couple of days later (on time!) to install, and even went above and beyond to try to get an old Franke water heater working. The installation is perfect, and if you're on the fence about getting a system, don't be ... I've never had such a great cup of coffee at home! What a difference!

I contacted Dave from Watermart a couple of months ago because of the spectacular service I received over 10 years ago from his company. Back then I was amazed at how knowledgeable he was and at the time he took to help me understand what I needed to know about water filtration. The service I received back then was exemplary. I am in a new home now and was wondering if Watermart still had my info on file. Not only did they have my info on file but Dave remembered me by name and provided the same level of care and attention to my questions this time around.
I went ahead and ordered another R/O system and once again, I was thoroughly impressed with the level of service. I want to say that it is rare to find a company that hires staff of such a high calibre.
Scott came out today and completed the install of my new r/o system. He was the epitome of patience and professionalism. Even though I was the last call of the day, Scott worked methodically and meticulously to ensure that my system was installed perfectly. I can't say enough about him. Watermart, you guys are the best!!! One very happy customer.

Dave and his team are outstanding! Dave takes the time to explain the options available and educates you on the pros and cons. But what has inspired me to write this review is their service !
My system was making an odd sound . I called Watermart and they sent a serviceman quickly and the part was replaced with no cost to me. I also like their yearly reminder call to replace the filters. I highly recommend this company !

Ken and trainee Murali arrived this afternoon to perform the first annual maintenance on our water purification system. They were running a bit behind and I received a call from the office (before the end of the quoted time window) to advise of the fact - nice touch! These two gentlemen were entirely pleasant. Ken was amazing at explaining what he was doing (even though he must have done it hundreds of times before!) There was some waiting involved while the disinfecting was taking effect so I asked Ken about an issue I am having with my bathroom faucet. He explained to me what was causing my problem and how it needed to be addressed. I was grateful of the additional knowledge he was able to share with me (even though it was not in his job description!) I now feel confident to find someone to help me with this issue. The annual maintenance was completed efficiently and I was, in fact, a nice break in my day. Great customer service guys!

Watermart came to my home recently and installed a water softener and reverse osmosis system with a pH boosting remineralizing filter. I have to say that rarely have I had dealt with such a knowledgeable and helpful company. Dave (the owner) took his time explaining all of my options - never once trying to "upsell" me into more expensive options. Ron (their lead technician) arrived within a 1 hour window as promised and within a few hours I had great quality water throughout my home. Their office called me the next day to follow up and make sure all was ok. Thanks so much for your help, guys! Great work!

Last year we had our water tested and were surprised to find unsafe amounts lead in our water. (We live in an old house downtown Toronto.) Dave and his team recommended a 4 stage reverse osmosis filter setup. They did a great job installing a filtration system under our kitchen sink. We just had our 1 year service where they sanitized the system and installed new filters. So glad we decided to have them maintain the filter system. It makes everything so much easier. I'm happy we went with WaterMart and would recommend them to my friends.

I have been a customer with Watermart since 2005. Recent years I found the service has gone down a lot. They used to be attentive and provided excellent services. However, recent years since the general admin of shop was taken over by this store manager, all she diligently does is monitor when your annual service/maintenance is up and spam you with calls/email to book an appointment.
While the technician was at my place 2 days ago to replace the carbon (a service needed every 3 years), I also asked them to bring along filters (which I can replace myself to save some money). He did not provide copy of instructions, despite that has been communicated specifically when the service was booked to bring it along. I followed-up with owner in email, who promised he would address it next day; nothing happened.
While technician was on site, he also located a leak in the softener head which requires replacement and called office to get a firm quote for me, so I make the decision and then to book another appointment if I am to go ahead with the replacement. No one took care of it to provided any update and it's been 2 days.
It makes me feels like as soon as they collected the money from you and closed a sale, they don't care anymore. No more attention to after sales service nor follow-up diligently. This is simply very disappointing.

Update: since I have posted this review on HomeStars, the owner has returned to the office and called me on the sunday evening (outside of the office hour) to understand the situation more, appologize for my bad experience and sent me the information I required promptly. He has listened, offered to address the feedback in his upcoming staff meeting and possibly introducing some changes. I appreciate the follow-up. Looking forward to seeing the changes and how it may enhance client experience.

This is an excellent company! I receive an annual phone call. Ron arrived at the specified time and did the work efficiently, cleanly. Ron is also an affable person...as have been Ken and Scott in the past!

Great service from this company, Ken did the water softener installation brilliantly and clearly explained everything. We are very happy with the reverse osmosis drinking water system we had installed last year and Watermart does reminders when the filters need changing. I had done quite a bit or research before calling Watermart and was very pleased with my decision to go with them.
