I had Home Painters Toronto come to my house to provide a quote on painting two rooms and resurfacing a stucco ceiling in a third room. The quote was handled well, and the salesperson provided good customer service. I booked the job and paid a deposit.
The day before the job was supposed to start, we received a call confirming that Home Painters Toronto staff would arrive between 8 and 9 am the next day to start. They never showed up. After calling the office, the only explanation I was offered was that the date was changed earlier in the week and they assumed someone called me.
We rescheduled for a week later, and I asked for a discount to compensate me for the additional time off work as well as the inconvenience. The salesperson responded to me with an email saying it was my fault; however, I believe he thought he was forwarding it on to his supervisor. After a few more conversations, Home Painters Toronto backed out of the job and refunded my deposit. This left me looking for another painter.
I selected 1 for my level of satisfaction and my recommendation because of the positive experience during the quotation process. Otherwise, I would not recommend them at all.
