Carpentry At Its Best

Niall and his team spent three tireless days adding trim/moulding to our boring condo walls and transforming it into something beautiful and unique. They also built a built-in storage bench that blends seamlessly into the room. They were professional, clean, and on time. They are masters of their craft and true artists. Thank you Niall!

A true craftsman! Niall and his team were excellent as was the work done. They were punctual, meet all timelines, kept a clean work area, and were true gems to work with.

Niall and his team removed and installed laminate flooring in my living room, fixed some trim around the window and door, put in a new fence post and built a handrail for my deck. Niall even fixed my stubborn door handle that sticks which has been a nuisance for a long time. He fixed it in a matter of minutes - absolutely incredible!

The original stairs going into the basement were the worst (first pic). They were uneven and really narrow. We were simply looking for paint grade stairs, since they were in the basement.

Most companies who quoted us were ridiculous with their prices. The companies that actually came to the house wouldn't be able to make the stairs wall-to-wall, like we wanted because the stairs were built off site.

Niall however, came through with a reasonable price and built them in place, which meant they are wall-to-wall (pic on its side, sorry!). He was super clean and considerate. He placed drop cloths everywhere and even tarped part of the basement so dust wouldn't get into my aquariums.

We will be using Niall in the near future for other things we need done!

After getting several quotes for this large job we hired Niall. From day one Niall provided us with great advice and creative solutions to deal with several problems in our home. The job involved repairing work done by a bad contractor, installing new crown, baseboards, new doors, frames, trim, fixing ceilings, and replacing flooring. Niall’s pricing was reasonable, his workmanship is excellent and he is easy to work with.

Niall showed up everyday until the job was done and has remained in contact with us since completion to ensure we were satisfied with everything that was done. I would highly recommend Niall to anyone and will be using him again in the future.

Niall did a great job with our condo. We have 100-year-old floors and he was able to fix nails that were popping out, as well as replace a glass closet door for us, and its track. He was on time, even when he came to do an estimate for us (another contractor didn't even show up!) and his work satisfied even my husband who is typically very picky. We will definitely call Niall for our next job.

Niall was very easy to work with. He was on time, on budget and delivered exactly as committed. In this project he took out the existing dry wall, shopped for all the parts, installed the new pipe and replaced the dry wall. He did a great job!

Niall was very responsive to my request even though he was away at the time. He did a great job anchoring a few chests of drawers and a bookshelf in our condo.

Niall was great. Based on my previous dealings with other trades, Niall has turned out to be, by far, the best and easiest to work with. What struck me first about Niall were his honesty and attention to detail. He listened to us in order to understand exactly what we were looking for in the finished product. He provided valuable input throughout his engagement with us and more importantly, was quick to point out when something didn’t sound right (particularly when it involved other trades that were working alongside him). Niall’s workmanship was fantastic and given the quality of the end-job, he was very reasonably priced.

Niall is an excellent carpenter who is also reliable, prompt, and takes ownership of his work. His carpentry is high quality and he stands behind it. His prices are very reasonable and he works efficiently but does not undercut quality. Niall will make suggestions for a project but respects the client's vision. I would absolutely hire Niall again for any carpentry work. A solid guy who is easy to work with.
