Beware of this company. They sweat talk but rip off the consumer.
I had owner of the company (to remain unnamed) come to my home to diagnose why the heating was not working after the temperature in my house started plummeting. He did honestly diagnose the problem to be the thermostat instead of pointing to the furnace (I'll give him that for honesty).
However, he charged me a completely insane price for the thermostat (apart from $70 service fee, which is of course justifiable). He sold me a Honeywell thermostat for $175, which I could find on the internet for $60 retail. As we all know, contractors buy it at ~40% discount to you and I, but this guy's appetite would not be easily satisfied.
After he left, I checked the cost of the model he installed and discovered I was ripped off by at least $115!!!! He charged me $250 for what should have been no more than a $130 job. Contractors make money from referrals, and this guy will not get any referral from me. This was robbery: 3x the actual retail price??? come on....

After receiving multiple quotes for a complete replacement of my heating and air conditioning system, I decided to go with Ed from Evam Canada. Ed's prices were very competitive and the service that he provided was second to none.

Ed installed our new furnace, air conditioner, tankless hot water heater and gas fireplace within two days of agreeing on a price. He stayed until the job was complete. We didn't turn on the air conditioner until this week, and we noticed that we weren't getting sufficient cooling to the top floor of the house. I called Ed, and within a few hours, Ed was at my house assessing the problem. (It turns out the the air conditioning coil was dirty with drywall dust from our basement renovation). Ed cleaned the coil and got the system working. Ed also measured the airflow to every room in the house to make sure that we had a balanced air distribution.

I would recommend Evam Canada to anyone considering a new furnace or air conditioner. Ed is trustworthy and true to his word. Thanks Ed!

they did a very good regarding the new furnace supply and install in less than one day; professional quality and great services. Giving me warranty for 10 years; I asked them for extra air filters and they provided the best quality. I have installed also a humidifier. I will do the A/C with them as well this summer. I defiantly recommend them to any friend.

Emad installed central air conditioning and humidifier and I found him and his worker to be very efficient and professional. Emad took the time to explain the best location for the unit and the results were a clean job. I will definitely call him again.

I decided to replace my 21 years old furnace and AC and called 15 different HVAC companies and received many different quotes. Finally I called Evam after reading reviews on Homestar, Ed showed up on time for house inspection and provided me with a no hassle quote. We agreed upon the price, and I called him the same day in the evening to start the project. He showed up on the day agreed upon and started the installation process, him and his crew were very courteous, they covered the carpet and floor with sheet to protect them and explained everything I inquired about. They took their time to install the furnace and AC to ensure the highest quality of work They also took out unnecessary duct work and cleaned up after them. It was very cold but they got the job done in two days. I am very happy with the installation and service provided will recommend them to all my friends and family.

Ed was straightforward with pricing and lived up to 100% of all expectations, i never thought i could get the equipment i wanted for the price i received, knowing i am very critical and oversaw the installation process i was extremely impressed. they even returned my old water heater for me.

Simple Story, I was looking online for an affordable furnace, found Evam, called them, they scheduled a meeting with me, they recommended high efficiency furnace within my budget, explained to me how to use and how to use it efficiently which was special. This contractor is very knowledgeable, I think he's an engineer, you can ask him anything and he will take the time to answer and give you good advice. I highly recommend their service.
