I called Ron from Sensational Roofing to look into a relatively small hot roof and eavestrough project. Rather than trying to charge just to come and look, Ron came on spec and provided a competitive quote. He and his team completed the job in a timely, professional manner including accommodating minor alterations at the end at no extra cost. I would hire Ron and his team again.

Called them on a Saturday night with a leaking roof due to a large ice dam. Ronald showed up first thing the next morning and took care of the issue quickly and professionally. Overall very good service.

Earlier in the summer after a few severe thunderstorms, I noticed a leak in my roof. The leak was dripping through the ceiling of my guest bedroom. I called a few different roofing repair companies but Ronald was by far the most responsive and one of the more competitive quotes. He was able to do the work quickly and on time. We are about to do some renovations on our house and did not want to yet replace the roof, so Ronald provided us with the options we wanted. He also was efficient in fixing some of the leaks that I had in my eaves troughs. Highly recommended. A pleasure to deal with.

Last summer I had Sensational Roofing perform some repairs to my eaves troughs. They arrived promptly and on time for our initial quote. It was pointed out there was a weak spot in the valley between 2 roof peaks (we live in a semi). It was also noted that despite having soffit vents, they were never truly functional due to their way being blocked by either insulation or plywood. It was also agreed that an additional downspout should be installed. He drew up his quote and I agreed to the extra work, which involved cutting plywood on the soffit. When the day came to perform the work he showed up on time. During the course of the work he was stung multiple times by yellow jackets. After spraying the nest he returned to work and completed the job on time without complaint – a real trooper! I inspected the work after and was very impressed. The quality of work exceeded my expectations. In the seasons since there have been no leaks from the eaves, and that takes into consideration the winter, with its frozen water and icicle loading. They have a great work ethic, and based on what I have seen they stick to their word. Absolutely A+! I would recommend them without hesitation, and I am not being paid to endorse them.

Ronald was recommended to me for some repairs to the aluminum fascia on my home in High Park. He came over immediately and was able to provide me with a quick cost efficient solution that was perfect! Well done, on time and below budget! Highly recommended!

I have a new home and was surprised when we had a snow storm this year and a very quick thaw, to find my roof leaking in my walk in closet. Called Sensational and got a response within an hour. Inspected the leak next day (leak had stopped) and was told what the problem was (inferior vents). All alternatives were explained and the work done within two days. I was so impressed with the work, the alternatives available and in a friendly, polite manner. I think I was most impressed with how fast I had service!

I have hired other contractors to do roof repairs on my previous home but the quality of work is nothing compared to what Ronald did. He did a thorough explanation on the current situation of my roof which made me feel better. For the amount of work and the amount he charged me, i would definitely recommend Ronald.

We recently had the pleasure of hiring Ronald of Sensational Roofing and Repairs to replace an old flat roof and eavestroughs. I found him through Homestars, and he came the morning after I called. He was on time and extremely knowledgable. On his first visit, when everything was frozen, we thought the scope of the work would only be repairs. We were hoping to contain it to repair work but after a huge snowfall /rain storm and our bay window started oozing water from behind the wood trim, Ronald came and inspected it again and because it had warmed up and there was more water on the roof, it was plain for him to see that it was worse than we initially thought. He was willing to repair it but we made the decision to replace the whole flat roof so that we wouldn't have to worry about it leaking again.
He was able to make some emergency repairs to stop the leaking bay window that night and started work the next day. They worked over a weekend and were finished in 3 days. He showed me the progress of their work from his phone everyday and was always on time. They worked extremely hard to get the job done in such a short time (in fear of it raining again) and founds ways to work on our small lot. They were very conscientious, tidy and hardworking. Ronald was great to work with. He took care of a lot of small details that I didn't even realize until they were done. I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for someone to repair their roof or replace a tricky roof.
