Milestone Contracting Inc.

I hired Milestone Contracting Inc. to waterproof the back wall of my house and then to finish with a patio that is 50ft by 12ft with interlocks. The owner of Milestone completed the waterproofing and interlocks within a week as quoted. Job completed and paid in full. Sadly 2 weeks later, after a couple of rainfalls, where he did the waterproofing, the interlocks fell about a foot. The owner was called and came back to re-gravel the area. Sadly 5 days after this the whole area (50 ft long by 2 feet wide) where the waterproofing was done, the interlocks fell again about two feet. It looked like a sink hole in my backyard. The owner felt he was no longer responsible for what happened as he "warned us" there would be settling. We discussed that settling is 2-3 inches over a year not 2 feet in less than a month of the job being completing. After several phone calls (as he ignored my messages), he came over and only poured some gravel where he felt was needed but did not fix the whole area nor did he put the interlocks back in place. He left my patio area in disarray and at a huge safety risk if people were to walk where he did the work. See the photos as they speak volumes. The first photo is what the owner of Milestone Contracting considers to be "fixed" and no longer responding to any of our messages. The job deemed completed in his eyes. The last few photos are of my patio after a couple of rainfalls after the job was originally completed. Please be aware and pass on to anyone who may consider this contractor for work.
