Over a year later there are contractually agreed upon items that are incomplete. If you have a serious desire to manage your own project and an endless amount of time and patience maybe. I don't know where to start with this debacle. Getting workers to show up was like pulling teeth. We were lucky to get 2 workers to show up at the same time. By his own workers admission, he takes on too many projects and spreads his resources too thin. It also doesn't help that he doesn't appropriately pay his workers for the work he expects them to do. So the employee turnover rate is EXTREAMLY high. There are so many reasons why I wouldn't hire Khalsa again. If JD estimates 1 week of work, expect it to take 1 month. If JD says that he'll use a conveyor belt, don't bet on one showing up. When you ask him about it he'll state that he gets to decide when and where to use his equipment. Expect to have to chase JD to get even one worker to show up. I wouldn't use Khalsa again even if the work was free. JD will provide a myriad of excuses about why he missed deadline after deadline after deadline, but at the end of the day, his lack of experienced and appropriately paid workers lead to over a year of setbacks. I would not recommend Khalsa to anyone.
