Newfoundlandscape was excellent. Keith explained his vision for our remake of our front lawn and gardens plus widening the driveway with the larger paver stones. We decided to keep our 2 gardens. We were away at the cottage for part of the work - had second thoughts on the second garden. Hoped it was not too late to cancel that part. Keith knew the second garden would not work and so much to our liking left it out. We have had so many compliments on his work. The crew were so hard working and polite and each knew his job to be done. The clean up was exceptional. Keith was so pleasant to work with and his vision right on the mark. Job well done.

Having noticed other properties in the neighbourhood using the services of Newfoundland scape and being very impressed with what I saw, I decided to give Keith a call for an estimate. Our front lawn was in need of a re-do. The tree in the center had roots that were taking over and the shade from the tree was making it difficult to keep the grass growing. The flower bed was just desperate. The paving stone driveway installed about 10 years ago had areas that needed attention where stones had sunk or shifted. We also needed patios stones installed in the backyard and a drainage system put in place.

Keith and his crew arrived on time (actually a little early) and despite the weather that at times was heavy rain followed by scorching heat, they worked without interruption. They were pleasant, knowledgeable, professional, and hard working.

The job took a little longer than planned simply because the weather was so challenging. They returned the next day to complete the remaining work. My husband and I were both very impressed with the cleanup at the end of each day and extremely pleased with the high quality results. Couldn’t be happier. We would highly recommend this company.

We hired Keith to replace our deck, remove an old patio, create a new patio, landscape the backyard and install a new gazebo. We are very happy with the results! Keith provided a detailed estimate after our initial consultation. Despite several changes on our end to the initial plan, Keith was always willing to listen, provide new ideas and updated estimates.
Keith and his crew arrived on the date as planned and completed the project on schedule. They were professional, hard working, considerate and answered all our questions. Their attention to detail was great and they were meticulous. They stored their equipment in our garage and cleaned and swept all work areas and the garage at the end of every day.
We would absolutely and highly recommend them!

We needed to replace a rotting front porch and decided it would be a good time to replace the concrete slab walkway. On the recommendation of our general contractor we contacted Keith for a quote for the walkway and the abutting driveway interlock which had started to shift and sink on one side. We had a good idea of what we wanted done and after brainstorming with Keith came up with a firm plan. Keith also suggested the stone company and brought samples. One the contract was signed, we didn’t hear from Keith for almost 4 weeks and had to follow-up with him to find out when work was to
commence. Once we had a date, the crew arrived as scheduled at 7:30.
Keith had told us he felt it was a one day job, and had the crew stayed
until 7pm, as other reviewers have said they did, i’m sure that would
have been the case. They left their equipment on our driveway
overnight and came back the next morning to finish up. Despite a few
glitches, we were very satisfied with the end result - until our new porch steps were being built and we discovered the stone step had not been laid in the correct position. It was out by 2 inches. Our contractor couldn’t install the post for our new steps and there was no way to fix it other than moving the stone steps. This was entirely the crews error. Long story short, after some delays we met with Keith. He didn’t offer to remove everything and make it right, even though that’s the job we paid for. His solution was to move the step into the correct position and cut the walkway on one side to compensate, ruining the pattern. He didn’t offer to fix the problem that would result on the other side of the walkway. That was entirely unacceptable. We were frustrated and needed the project completed. My contractor said moving the stone 1” instead of two would allow him to install the post and stairway, although they would no longer be centred on the stone step. That was the fix we agreed to so that we could move forward without further delays. So, while the crew was great, the work was carried out in a timely manner and the quality of work seemed to be very good, the
devil is in the details. Our rating is largely a result of the poor post-
installation experience.

Once again, we would like to thank you for the great job you and Matt did on our deck replacement and more specifically repairing the underpinnings of our solarium. We are well aware that you could have walked away, telling us to get someone to come in and do the repair work. We are so very grateful that you stayed on and saw the job to its bitter end.

WOW!!! Thank you Keith and crew for your excellent service, dedicated work and effort in designing and creating our dream backyard. The results of the stone landscaping around our in-ground pool surpassed our expectations. The highly professional and courteous crew arrived on time and stayed as long as required to meet the project deadline, always providing the utmost quality. They were meticulous with their plan, design and execution of the stone landscaping, always being respectful to leave the area safe and clean at the day's end. Keith was always prompt to respond to any questions throughout the process and was always approachable and attentive to ensure customer satisfaction. They created a classic look that will not date over time. We have already provided the company as a reference to many friends and neighbours who highly admire and recognize the work that has been done. We will also be hiring them again on our next project and can't wait to collaborate on that design! We know we can count on them 100%.

Keith and his crew redid our entire deck and patio using cedar and stone. They did a beautiful and artistic job. Even with this year's temperamental weather, they started and finished on time. Three 12 plus hour days! They were always professional, pleasant and hardworking - something that we happily learned last year when they did a new front porch and walkway for us. Keith was mindful of both our budget and his quote for the project . We have no hesitation in recommending this company. They are well deserving of a super review.

I don't even know where to begin. Keith and his crew are by far the best contractors we have ever worked with. We had a vague idea of what we wanted and Keith was able to design a beautiful landscape. He gave zero pressure advice on stone and colour and made sure we approved everything before work started. He was always quick to respond to questions made sure we knew exactly when they were coming. They worked long hours and our whole project was done in about 2 day.

His crew?? They are the friendliest, most professional group of guys. They all seemed to be enjoying their work and they all took the time to do the job right. They also made sure everything was spotless at the end of each day.

Whenever we went out to look at the progress, Matt was sure to come and tell us exactly what was going on. He even took the time to explain how the materials worked.

As for the final project ... absolutely beautiful! Such clean lines and it compliments our house so well. I seriously can't say enough :)

Keith, Matt and crew were amazing diligent workers, long hours (7:00am to 7:00pm) always cleaned up, project was well coordinated, stayed on budget, great to talk to, and workers seamed to truly enjoy working for these guys.
But the main reason we hired Keith and Matt was their creativity which allowed us to let him take over the design knowing that he would turn out something that we can enjoy for a long time to come.
This was the second project Keith has created between myself and my girlfriend, and we look forward for them to come back next spring for more interlock and landscaping after the ground has settled.

My backyard lawn suffered badly from last summer's dry conditions and this spring there was 80 % weeds, 20% grass. I contacted Keith Sears of Newfoundlandscape by email on the recommendation of my neice who had her lawns replaced by that firm. Keith contacted me and arranged to visit to view the damage and suggest a solution. It was no surprise to me that he suggested removing the existing mess and replace it with new sod. He and his crew arrived at 7:00a.m. on the date agreed and set to work immediately. His crew of 5 removed all the existing grass (weeds) and earth beneath down to 5", replaced that with new topsoil and levelled the yard. They then installed freshly harvested sod, rolled it and sculptured the sod around our garden plantings around the perimeter of the yard. The final result was spectacular and my wife and I were extremely please not only with the result but with the friendly and efficient crew. They worked non-stop and consulted with us whenever they had a question about the design we wanted. Took them from 7:00 a.m. to about 3:00 p.m. to complete the work that transformed my yard from an eyesore to a thing of beauty.
To borrow a phrase from the PGA Tour, "these guys are good". I have no hesitation in highly recommending this firm for any landscaping job.
